Seventeen year old Genevieve is being pursued by a writer intent on knowing her story. A building in East Marrowvale has been decimated. A once thriving park has been reduced to wither. An array of girls have spontaneously gone blind. Stars are being snatched out of the sky. The bees are dying. Monsters walk the streets.
All Eve wants to do is work at her friends tattoo parlor, make it out of high school and put her tormented childhood behind her. But when strange happenings take hold of her city and many others like it, she is forced to acknowledge her unusual ability and stand up against the creatures invading their world.
Otherwise, humanity won't survive.
