Heartbeat racing
Faster they billow
Wind howling through the hollows

Cowering beneath
The shades of the rotten cottage of those
Simple yet mellow
A fated misery
And now the shadows
We used to be
Surviving those thunder and storms
Now bracing the aftermath
In warmth
