"Mike, I'm sorry. I have to do it-"
"No! No you don't y/n!"
"Mike, we don't have a choice!"
"Yes we do, y/n."
"No. I'm sorry, Mike."
"But... what if something happens to you! What if you don't come back?"

Said conversation had happened a day before, and Mike's arguments were no use against the stubborn girl.
That brings us to now, where the group of young kids were stuck at Hawkins Middle, running from certain doom.

Mike's eyes started watering as the girl walked towards to nightmarish creature.
Much like Eleven, y/n was from Hawkins Lab.
Number 010.
Her powers; mind reading, and mind swap.
Mike couldn't watch as she faced the monster.
He didn't see what happened next, as his tear-filled eyes were closed. But when he opened them, the Demogorgon was gone.
And so was y/n.
He didn't move, as he took in what just happened.
The girl he fell in love with sacrificed herself for the sake of him and his friends.
"I told you, y/n. I knew this would happen. But you didn't listen. I. Told. You."
