I was by the library when I saw it. A single red balloon floated against the wind, gently but steadily making its way to me despite the summer breeze. Behind it I saw a clown: tall and menacing, drooling as it grinned maliciously, leering at me. I began walking closer for some reason, unable to control myself, wanting to go anywhere but Its arms.
"Do you want a balloon?" It asked.
"Who are you?" I asked.
"I'm Pennywise," It replied. "Come float with us, y/n. There's games and popcorn and candy, and balloons, so many balloons, and you can float too! You'll float too! You'll float too! You'll float too! YOU'LL FLOAT TOO!!!"
It kept screaming at me, those three words: you'll float too, over and over and over. I broke out of its spell and ran for home, looking back to the street only after I was in my house. The road was empty except for a single red balloon, which floated closer to my door. I was alone in the house; my parents must have been running errands, or still at work. I felt a hand on my shoulder and turned to see Stanley Uris, the boy from math class.
"I hate you, you prissy little bitch. Show-off," he said.
I recoiled, asking myself in a small voice why he hated me. His hair was in disarray, his brown eyes full of malice and hunger. His face began morphing, he started getting taller, his clothes began shifting, and his hair started to change. "You'll float too, y/n," he said quietly and calmly, all ill will gone from his eyes. "Come float with me. Come float with us. You'll float too. Do you want a balloon? You can float too..." It kept going like that.
I inched back in horror, but I had very little space before I hit the wall. Stanley had shifted to Pennywise, and It stepped closer, until It began shifting again, into a woman who was very tall and thin, with eyes of pure white, looking almost like a stretched version of the Mona Lisa. It put its hands around my throat, and tears began running down my face.
The door opened to admit my mom, and the woman vanished.
"N/n, are you okay? Did something happen at school?"
I nodded, as she clearly hadn't seen the woman.
"Do you need anything?" Mom asked me.
I shook my head no, and went to my room, dumping my stuff on my bed. Collapsing onto the floor, I cried, not understanding what was happening, only knowing that I was scared and alone and something was happening; accompanied with the thought that I was probably crazy, I fell into an exhausted sleep after crying for a long while.

So how did you like the second chapter? I promise, Stan will come in soon, but I'm thinking that nothing in the romance aspect will actually happen until about chapter five, so if you're looking for only romance without a story I'd suggest you go elsewhere, but please bear with me! I really hope you liked it and the third chapter may come out today but probably tomorrow.
