Chapter 11

"Hello to you too" I said to Nabiha

"Babe I asked you a question" she said walking towards me, she leaned on the table facing me

"Nabiha I just came back and I'm so tired, I can't do lunch" I explained

"Oh I understand" she said leaning onto me, her hands caressing my cheeks "but you should've called and told me not have your assistant do that"

"I know, I'm sorry"

"No problem, we could just go up to your apartment and order some food" she said sitting on my laps her hands roaming in the backside of my hair

A moan escaped my lips, I love it when she plays with my hair that way. She leaned in to kiss my lips and that's when Ahlam came to my mind, I turned away and she kissed my ear and pulled away. She had a questionable look on her face

"Abdul what's wrong with you?" She asked her hands laying on my shoulders "you've been acting weird, is something wrong?"

I removed her hands from my shoulders and ushered her to get up "I need to tell you something" I said as I drag her hands leading her to the chair Mahmud was sitting on before, I sat on the other sit facing her, our knees brushing one another.

How am I going to break this to her "Abdul what is it?" She asked impatiently rubbing her palms on my knee

I heaved a sigh placing my palm on top of hers "I'm getting married" she withdrew her palms

"Abdul I told you I'm not ready to get married" she said

"I said I'm getting married not I'm marrying you" I said clearly

"You're joking right?" She chuckled

I put a stern look "I'm serious, my trip to Mauritania wasn't for business. We went there regarding the marriage"

She was quiet, I couldn't read the emotions on her face

"Look as you've said you're not ready to get married and my family has been on my neck about getting married so they brought the proposal and after giving it a thought I accepted" I said skipping the details

"Well you shouldn't have" she said standing up and I followed

"They gave me no choice" I defend

"No Abdul, I know you and you always get things your way. You wouldn't have gone to Mauritania if you didn't want this marriage."

I was silent because it's true I always get things done my way

"Abdul please don't get married to whoever she is, we can continue our relationship, please Abdul" she said clinging onto my shirt

"Why don't you want to marry me? Am I not good enough for you?" I asked, hurt lacing through my voice

"No, it's not that. You know I love you, I can't live without you Abdul" I grabbed her hands that were placed on my chest clinging onto my shirt and pulled them down, looking into her eyes "Then why don't you want to marry me?"

"I just don't want to be subverted, I don't want to do the dishes, or cook or wash or any bloody gross things that wives do, I don't want to deal with any mother in law or in laws problems, I just want to live freely with the person I love, you Abdul"

"If you love me like you say you do you'll want to live the rest of your life with me as your husband not your boyfriend"

"Abdul you have to understand me also, if you love me you won't get married"

"I am getting married In shaa Allah because the date has already been set and since you can't marry me I don't think there's a need for this relationship anymore" I say

"What's that suppose to mean?" She asked

"We're done, me and you it's over" I said it in the nicest possible way

Nabiha started laughing and I looked at her like she's mad "Abdul it's not over till I say it is, you're mine, you belong to me and I'm not sharing you with anyone" she says

I stayed there shocked looking at her, she is really crazy that's why you love her my subconscious says but this is too far "Nabiha, I get it you're upset, you need time to figure things out but you'll get over it, okay?"

"Shut up!" She yelled "I'm not crazy Abdul I know what I'm saying it seems like you're the crazy one not understanding what I am saying. Let me make this clear to you if I can't have you then trust me no one would" she said and walked towards the door, I kept calling her name but she didn't stop she exits my office banging the door behind her, leaving me stunned.

Hmmmmm guys you have to applaud me although I'm in my exams week I managed to write you guys a chapter. So please I'll appreciate it if you guys leave a COMMENT ooo that one is very important and don't forget to vote and share.
