Chapter 10 ~ Finale.

It wasn't long before the pitter-patter of tiny feet appeared in the lounge from behind where I was sitting, while Kaydence was laying next to me drinking her bottle. I turned around to see a miniature version of myself standing at the entrance of the hall.

"Good morning, sweetie," I smiled, opening my arms as the tired little lady wandered over and climbed into my lap, nesting her head against my neck. "Did you sleep okay?"

She nodded.

"Where's momma?" She asked.

"She is asleep still, she will be up soon. Remember we have a big day today?"

She nodded.

"You're going to be a good girl, right?"

She nodded, then sat up and rubbed her eyes before climbing off my lap and kneeling in front of Kaydence. The two interacted together, while I finished my coffee out and mentally prepared myself for the day.

Brittany walked out into the lounge and pecked my lips quickly before gathering her two daughters into her arms and planting kisses all over them. "Is Kaydence and Nyah going to be good for mommy today?"

Nyah shook her head, so I sighed as that totally wouldn't surprise me. She is exactly like me when I was younger, and I was most definitely not the easiest child. Nyah is a strong, snappy little lady, and has us on our toes daily, but it's exciting and keeps us looking forward to what the future brings to her and us as a family.

Brittany put the girls down, laying Kaydence on the ground on her play mat. "You want a coffee?" She asked me.

I shook my head. "I've had one, I might go get dressed, can you make Nyahs breakfast?"

"Of course," Brittany nodded, then walked into the kitchen. I removed myself from the lounge and walked down to the bedroom. I began getting my clothes ready for the day, until a tiny figure appeared at the door.

"What's up? Did momma give you breakfast?" I asked.

She shook her head.

I stepped closer before realising my mistake. "Oh I'm sorry baby girl, I thought you were Nyah," I giggled quietly before picking up our oldest daughter (by four minutes) and cuddled her. "You want some breakfast?"

She nodded. I carried her out through the lounge and into the kitchen where Brittany was, buttering toast for Nyah.

"And there's number one," Brittany cooed. "Good morning princess," she reached out and grabbed Nova from my arms.

I left the room once again  and went and got myself organised for the day. I showered quickly, something I had learnt to do since having three kids. Quickly applied makeup, ran a comb threw my hair then returned to the lounge to takeover watching the kids.

...

Our fifth wedding anniversary was celebrated by our family and friends at a park on the middle of the city.  Everyone who had guided us threw our life was there to celebrate our special day with us. Most of which we hasn't seen since our wedding, because having three kids really did change our lives.

The twins were over with my Abuela, who has recently made and appeared back into my life once she found out she had great grandchildren. I had no hatred toward her anymore. Nor to my mother. I let the two back into my life for my children's sake. Because growing up without a parent and their family absolutely sucked. I had to deal with that, and I didn't want my daughters to have to. Abuela was amazing with the girls, and they absolutely loved her, and my mother.

"Hey, can I have everyone's attention." A voice was heard from behind where we were sitting on the grass which Kaydence on the blanket in front of us. Everyone was scattered around on blankets with more food than we could all ever eat. We all turned our heads to one familiar blonde who was standing on the table with a glass of wine in her hand - not surprising.

"Happy fifth wedding anniversary Brittany and Santana. It has been an absolute blessing watching the two of you mature and grow older together. I remember when the two of you met, the hills you climbed together, and the absolute love for each other that has grown with you.

I remember the two of you, seventeen years old and sat us down at the table to tell us that you two were in a relationship, and neither of you had no idea what the future held. We were scared for you both, because society these days is so so cruel, and so judgemental. Its like you two have put aside the 'normal' as society calls it,and have created your own story, your own life and you've absolutely killed it at doing so.

Now here we are, ten years on from when you had come out to us. Your wedding was one we had waited for, for a very long time. I had always pictured Brittany walking down the isle to a man, but I never have wanted my daughters happiness any other way. Santana you have really made a huge impact in all of our lives, and bringing into the world three beautiful grand children for us was the best gift of all. Our three and a half year old twinseys, and our eight month old wee delight have really proved to us that love is love, and Brittany and Santana, you two have shown that you two together, have a bond and love unbroken, and your family's love is forever unbreakable."
