I walked to her house and knocked on her door, number 54 and her mum answered. "Hello shawn" She said shaking my hand and then me and Molly's dad shook hands. "Hey shawn" Molly said hugging me. Her two brothers came out who were called Justin and Sam. Once we all said our hellos we all sat down at the table. "So Shawn I heard that you are into music?" Her mum asked. "Yeah I love music and making it myself" I said. "I heard about that and Molly showed me a video of you singing, you sound amazing" She said. "Thank you" i replied. I still felt like Sam and Justin are staring at me, I feel super awkward. "So who inspires you to create music?" Her dad Andrew asked. "Well Ed Sheeran was a huge inspiration for me and John Mayer and Bruno Mars all of them" I answered. After a successful dinner with her family her dad asked if I could join him for a second. "I'm sure Molly has told you that I'm a manger at island records and I really like you Shawn I really do, I think you have something special" he said. "Thank you" I said, I couldn't believe he was saying this to me. "And I really want to sign you, do you think I could have your parents number?"He asked. "Of course" I said as I added my mums number to his phone. "Thanks Shawn" He said. "No thank you sir" I replied. "Shawn please, call me Andrew" He said shaking my hands. Did I hear him correctly? Did I just possibly get a record deal with Island records?. I walked back upstairs to Mollys room. "What was that about?" She asked. "Your dad, he want to sign me!" I said excitedly. "Seriously!
