You have surpassed the difficulty of The Battles and The Knockous. Now, let us go to the 'real' battle. This is The Playoffs. Good luck, authors.

1. This is where it gets real. This round will be an all-out brawl. The remaining authors will battle against one another regardless of teams. Lahat kayo ay mag-aagawan sa spot para sa Top 7 na mag-aadvance sa next round. But remember, you are your own competition.

2. The public was asked for songs they want you to make a story of. And you have already chosen one song per each member from our filtered song list. Changing/switching of songs will not be permitted.

3 Use the songs as your inspiration for the story and use them as creatively as you can. Pwedeng obvious pero the more creative, the better. Your goal is to make the readers feel like they are reading your story and it feels like the song is constantly playing in their head. Yung tipong halos every line naaalala nila yung kanta. A good example is the plotline of fallenbabybubu's A and D, which was inspired from Taylor Swift's You Belong With Me. But always remember that what you're making is a one shot, not a novel.

4 Nandyan ang coaches hindi lang para magjudge kundi para tulungan kayo sa stories niyo. You can ask them for tips and advices pero kailangan kayo ang gumawa ng one-shot niyo. Your coach will not give any line/paragraph/dialogue in your one-shot, just tips on how you can improve your story. Pwede niyo silang kulitin kung paano mapapaganda ang story, pero hinding-hindi sila magsa-suggest ng magiging plot/storyline niyo.

5 After the given deadline, the one shot stories will be evaluated and posted. From the Top 10, 5 contestants will be sure to advance to the next round while the other half will consist the bottom 5 where only 2 of them will survive.

6. As we have been repeating again and again, the public will now be considered starting this round. The public and their votes will be added to the judges' decisions. It will be a 50-50 decision, so both parts are vital and you cannot rely on just one end.

7 Enjoy and just write normally and with alot a room for improvement.

> REQUIREMENTS

TITLE

- Dapat hindi yung title ng song. Be creative enough. Again, you can ask tips from your judges, but don't let them decide the title for you.

BODY

-No emoticons, No author's notes. Pwedeng informal writing pero sana walang [Click the video para mas feel], -FLASHBACK-, or anything like those.

- Unlike the past 2 rounds, we are not requiring you to either include the song title or lines from the song. Instead, atleast one of the following things should be seen in any part of your story (excluding the title). This should not be in bold. We expect you to use them as creative as possible.

-Wooden Swords

-Origami

-Broken Piano Keys

THEME

-One way or another, you are the one who had chosen your theme. The story behind the songs you picked will be your personal theme for this round. So, we hope that you made the right choice.

LENGTH

-For round 3, since this is getting tougher, you required to write a one-shot story between the range of 4-10 wattpad pages.

LANGUAGE

- Either English, Tagalog or Taglish.

DEADLINE

- The last day of submission of your one-shot entries is on July 5, 2014 until 11:59PM. We will give you another 24-hour extension (July 6) pero may deduction na po ito. The results are expected to be released 3-5 days after.

> CRITERIA FOR JUDGING

35%  -   Relation to the song's theme

30%  -   Creativity

20%  -   Clarity/Organization

15%  -   Sentence structure/Requirements

> JUDGES' MATRIX

- Unlike the past rounds, your rankings will now come with an average. Each of the three coaches will be evaluating your work and will be giving it a score ranging from 10.0-100.0. This will be then totalled and then the authors will be arranged according to their general weighted average. The five authors with the least average will compete again for the instant save.

> PUBLIC VOTES

- As mentioned above, we will be considering the number of votes that each one-shot has receives throughout the deadline, which will be from July 6-8. The votes received by each one-shot will then be transmuted, 50% being the highest. All votes gathered will be added to the other 50% which consists of the judges votes.

- The author which will be ranking number 1, in terms of public votes, will be automatically saved! He/she will be advancing to the next round no matter what his/her rank will be.

> INSTANT SAVE (FOR BOTTOM 5)

- This will serve as your last hope to stay in the competition. The judges have two instants saves collectively, meaning they can unanimously save two authors from the bottom 5 and give them another chance to stay in the competition.

- In order to be saved, you have to 'perform' again. This last chance performance will be taking the form of one of the well-known homeworks given in high school --- making a haiku. This 5-7-5-syllable will decide if you will stay or not.

- After the release of the results, the 24-hour clock for the the last chance performance will run. You have to produce a haiku within that time interval. The theme of the haiku will be announced later in the competition.

Goodluck everyone! Let your creativity and knowledge with both music and writing shine though the pages of your story! :)
