One very important part of my journey was YouTube. I know, that sounds stereotypical. But, there isn't a lot of ace exposure in TV, literature, or anything really. Those of us who need that have to turn to the resources we do have. YouTube is one of the few things most people have access to, and for someone like me, who doesn't have Tumblr, Instagram, or anything else, I had very few options.
So I turned to YouTube. One of the best asexual YouTubers out there is AmeliaAce. She's an asexual, biromantic YouTuber with about 5k subscribers. Another ace YouTuber is simply_kenna, who's asexual and aromantic. As I didn't really identify as aro for long, I never watched many of her videos.
I will be watching more asexual YouTubers in the future, and will probably post another update when I find more that I like.
