in a few hours I'd be sitting my philosophy and science exam
which I do not care as of what mark id get for the paper
yesterday was a pretty okay day
no work but I had to sit the maths and humanities exam
maths exam sucked ass
I sticky taped my textbook, notebook and workbook so it could be considered as 'one bound reference'
but it just made me look straight up dumb as even though I had all the materials in front of me
I had no idea what to do with them
making the situation look even worse, i was taking an advanced maths class
our school is pretty competitive with our grades, being mostly made up of Asian or European decent
I wasn't to obsessed with my grades until I found out that they impacted our university choices
my parents are considered high middle class and
well used to be involved in politics
you might of seen some news circulating about the banishment of the opposing political party in Cambodia
my family is very into politics as a minority of my relatives are considered royal and in order for them to stand somewhat high in the social ladder they became involved
anyways, back to my school
in year 10, a lot of your choices can be limited depending on how your grades are overall
being an English major, I regularly achieved high marks in anything arts related
although maths
a pain in the ass
At the start of the year, the requirement to get into advanced maths was an average test score of 80
my average was 50
but I managed to get into advanced maths and pushed my average to an 80
getting into advanced maths was pretty important for students in my cohort as if you were taking anything below that class
You were given the choice to drop maths or take the standard maths class
But most universities in Australia do not accept those who take a standard maths class
It's almost the end of the year, I've achieved all my goals, academic wise
But it's been a pretty boring year
back to the maths exam,
I think I mentioned before that a hot teacher was supervising my maths exam
Rumour says he was the Dux at his high school and incredibly smart
yet choose to be a gym coach
anyways
he walked around the classroom and I felt dumber that I usually felt as I felt as if he were judging me
I know teachers do not do this
and if they were they would be more discrete
but he gives off a pretty intimidating vibe
my ass is sleepy
