I pulled up to the playground Marisa and I always go to.
"Babe." I called as I sat by her.
"Hey" she answered quietly before picking at the grass again.
Before I can apologize for whatever it is that I did she cut me off.
"Why do we keep doing this?" Marisa asked looking me in my eyes.
"What do you mean" I asked nervously.
"We argue all of the time for stupid reasons and then make up after saying sorry. We never fix the problems." Her voice cracked.
"Look I-
"I think we should take a break." She said very fast as she looked up
A break? Why the hell would I want to take a break.
"A break?? As in we can see other people...please don't do this." I begged as my eyes water.
"KC I didn't mean that , I meant us not being around each other outside of missions."
"I wasn't even happy with being away from you the two hours I couldn't find you." I said lowly trying to prevent my voice from cracking
"I'll be back Wednesday , that's only four days." Marisa said as she look away from me.
" look KC I know you love me but love and respect are two different things. I'm not saying that you don't respect me but I feel like you don't respect our relationship as a couple and partners....I just need space."
