Chapter 4

Seven's POV

I hid it well.
For some reason I didn't want Madison to see that we slept in together, rather—it's uncomfortable right? Sleeping with a stranger.

That's why before she wakes up, dahan-dahan ko siyang binuhat sa kama niya at agad lumabas ng kwarto. Ugh. for now pipigilan ko ang sarili kong pumasok doon. Iniiwasan ko kasing...may magawa akong hindi kaaya-aya.

Jesus! I'm a man after all! And the fact that Madison can't remember everything still kinda—unreal.

Pinag isipan kong mabuti ang request niya na pumasok sa school, but the thought of her going there with an injured foot worries me. That's why Topher came into my mind, he can at least tutor Madison right? Alam ko namang kahit ganoon yung taong yun, I know he's reliable and he won't make a move on My Madison.

Hmmm, I can ask Ace too but that guy was too relax and I know they can get along just fine. That's the problem. I hate that.

A month passed, finally magaling na ang paa ni Madison. She can walk properly now, tinanggal na rin ang cast sa paa niya. At ang benda sa ulo niya. There's no scarring too. That's a relief, ayokong may maiwang bakas sa accident na iyon. It made my heart hurts... sapat na siguro yung pagkawala ng memorya ni Madison. Well—parang ganoon na rin, worst part is bumalik siya sa pagka bata. She can't remember things  simula noong 13 years old siya.

I'll be lying kung sasabihin kong, I didn't mind it all. Oo, I'm happy that Madison is alive. She's with me, and I'm so thankful for that. But—

I miss, Us—

Your kisses.

Your laughter.

Your stubbornness...Everything.

I miss My Madison.

Hindi ko alam pero naluluha na naman ako. I felt that somewhere...my Madison died, along with that accident. Nonono. Stop it Seven! Madison is alive! She's still with you. Don't be stupid. I jolted on my seat and hurriedly wiped my tears away.

" M-Madison. "
I said while forcing a smile. She smiled back and run towards me. Niyakap niya ako.

Yes, the current Madison was no longer shy around me. She's joyful and energetic now, just like any other normal kids around her age. At first she's quite and acts mature, pero pinilit ko siyang maging open sa mga bagay-bagay. She started to loosen up her guard down until she became like this...
