"Kara, darling!" Lena called.
"Hmm?" Kara answered from the kitchen. With a small, content sigh Lena headed into the kitchen. She held that small device with the two lines on it tightly in her hand and couldn't fight the smile on her lips.
"It worked." She simply stated, and Kara frowned at her from across the breakfast bar where she was eating her third bowl of cereal that morning.
"We're going to be mothers." Lena reiterated and Kara dropped the spoon. Her eyes grew wide and so did her smile.
"It worked?" She asked, and Lena nodded, "It worked! Oh Rao, it worked!" Kara leapt into the air and stayed a few feet off of the floor, hands on her head in happy disbelief. Lena nodded again and found herself silently laughing.
"Oh I love you so much, Lena!" Kara said, floating horizontally above the breakfast bar and giving Lena a kiss.
{a short one but I hope you enjoyed it. Im thinking these won't be One Shots but each chapter will not continue straight after each other like in most books. Instead there will be big gaps between some and smaller gaps between others.}
