Jungkook wasn't thinking about an outcome anymore as he looked into the pair of eyes staring back at him. He watched the others blinking rapidly to push away cloudy tears that brimmed at their edges before tracing wet lines down the bridge of Jimin's red nose. Jungkook wrapped his arm around the smaller boy, careful to not pull on his bound wrists, and he pressed their foreheads together and breathed. He was beginning to feel a weight lifting from his shoulders already, but it was still too soon to feel that way. Jimin was still trapped and he would remain as such, unless Jungkook figured out a way to completely free him from the torment in his mind. It was all too real to the younger man, as he laid beside a presence that he could now feel immense love radiating from.

Jimin was home in his eyes, and they were so full of a bittersweet adoration Jungkook almost couldn't bare to witness it. He leaned forward so quickly to press his eager lips to the others, his neck stiffened from the sudden movement. Jungkook didn't care at all as he melted into the softness of their kiss. His body relaxed, pressing his weight against the smaller man. Emotion blossomed in his chest as he moved his lips, slow and sweet, against Jimin's.

To Jimin, as Jungkook's hand traveled up the curve of his spine and his kiss deepened, it felt like finding the sun after an eternity in darkness. Jongseok wasn't banished from inside of his head, but the wicked mans words fell into the darkness he'd been living in alone for an amount of time worthy of driving a man insane. Jongseok sounded like relentless static, but Jungkook's voice was louder when their lips parted so they could breath.

"I love you, Jimin. I love you." Jungkook slurred his sentences. The words crushed together as he rushed to say what he knew that he needed to before..

"I can barely hear him." Jimin whispered. It felt strange to control his tongue again. It wasn't difficult, but it felt different than before. He found himself wondering about how long it'd been since he had spoken a word. It didn't matter, not even a bit. Not in the moment, when Jungkook's anxious breath tickled his face. "I love you, Jungkook. I feel-"

Jungkook reached above their heads and with a simple pull at the corner of Jimin's binds they became unraveled and fell to the bed. Jungkook took one of his boyfriends wrist in his hand and carefully lowered it to his side before following suit with the other.

"Jungkook," The elder heaved, surprised. "You shouldn't do that."

Jungkook chose to ignore the others concern and he smiled. He entangled one of his hands with one of Jimin's and brought the back of it to his lips, talking again around small fingers. "How do you feel?"

Jimin's face scrunched with worry and fear that if Jongseok found a way to bounce back into the light, to shove him back down into his pit of darkness, Jungkook might not be safe. "You should keep me tied. It's not safe. I'm-" He cut his words to fight back the emotion in his throat. "I'm not safe to be around right now."

The youngers smile didn't falter. "You're here with me right now, baby."

"But, what if-"

"Shh." Jungkook shuffled in the bed to wedge one of his arms beneath Jimin's head. He felt the other fall into his hold with familiar ease. His heart fluttered. "I got you. I promise."

"He can come back. He's still inside, I can still feel him pushing."

Jungkook's smile fell. His eyebrows creased and the flutter in his chest dissipated. The mountain he felt as if he'd climbed suddenly crumbled under his feet. Jimin was right to worry, to be cautious, but to Jungkook it felt too good of a moment to keep the man bound to his bed. A loose arm circled the tallers waist and he sighed into the hair atop Jimin's head when he nuzzled closer despite his words before. They were both too vulnerable to deny pulling closer, to touch each other's skin, to squeeze the body against their own. "I know it might make you tired, but please push back, Jimin." Jungkook's throat squeezed closed with his plea. It sounded strained from his lips.

Jimin was bathing in the warmth that enveloped him. Jungkook's strong arms held onto him with mixed emotions, every single one he could feel in the feathery stroke of the man's fingertips. He hadn't ever felt this strong. Jimin hadn't ever heard Jongseok's verbal silence. "I'm scared, but I'm trying." He voiced his terror of truth amongst his statement of hope. "I'm trying, but for some reason, it isn't that hard to stay right now. It's not very hard to make him quiet. He just is. He's so quiet."

"It's good, love. Isn't it?" Jungkook whispered his words with sincerity, but he still felt uneasy about the way the other appeared so concerned over his bout of mental freedom. It had to be more tormenting than Jungkook could have even imagined.

The smaller man nodded with agreement, but his worried expression remained. "You need to tie me back to the bed." Jimin pulled away to look at the fallen smile on his boyfriends lips and he suddenly felt guilty. Another minute of comfort in the youngers arms couldn't hurt. He cuddled back into the soothing warmth and sighed deeply into Jungkook's chest. "Soon."
