Chapter 9

When Lucy and Natsu walked into the dorm holding hands they were met by a lot of finalise from their friends. They just smiled at them, well Lucy did, Natsu went and attacked Grey.

"I hope that's not fighting I hear," said Erza

The two boys immediately jumped apart. Lucy just laughed at the two boys and went over to grab her boyfriend and drag him away from Grey. They all then went to lounge around the fire.

"So, what exactly happened?" asked Hermione

"Well, there's this legend about one ruler for our world. The legend says, that a long time ago Th Elders, who were the original rulers of the land, sent out a gift. This gift went in search of a pure hearted soul who would never be concurred by greed or pride. When it found this person, the young lady or wan would fall into a 3-month sleep, or more depending on the different circumstances. Anyway, this gift helps the power of our dimension, whoever this gift chose would be the nest ruler of our world, sometimes it would search for years, and when it found this person it could be a few more years until The Gift believed they were ready to take on the power. This way the power would not be passed down in one family. My mother was the last ruler and when she died The Gift jumped to me, I don't know why but it did. Now I hold the power to keep balance to our dimension." Lucy explained

"Wow, that's so cool!" exclaimed Ron

Lucy laughed and shook her head at him. But she had to agree it was cool, that The Gift could find the next ruler like it does.

"Well, even though I've been asleep for around 3 months I still need to sleep like a normal human being, so I'm going to head to be. Goodnight everyone," Lucy said

She got up and waved to everyone, gave Natsu a kiss then headed up to her dorm.

"So, you finally got the guts to ask her out huh Natsu?" Grey asked

"Yeah, yeah leave me alone stripper," Natsu replied

Erza shook her head at the two, then made her way up to the dorm as well, but not before wishing the others a good night. After Erza, Hermione followed the Ginny. After her harry and Grey, then last Ron and Natsu. They all slept soundly that night, not knowing that the Fairies identity would be revealed the next day due to a battle that they had no idea was coming.
