"What? What happened? All I remember was that I drank a lot after I ran away from him because— oh gosh, no." Everything hit Jungkook like a train. Truthfully, that was all he remembered. But as a common knowledge, he knew that once your in the influence of alcohol, anything could happen.

"So now you do?" Eunbi flashed a flirty smile at him. "You were amazing last night."

"Stop!" Jungkook covered his ears as he sat up straight. "Nothing happened. I don't remember anything." he said that with full confidence. But then again, he wasn't a hundred percent sure.

She crawled near so that her face is beside his ear. "If you don't, then I'll tell you everything in detail. First off, you kinda assaulted me. But it's not rape if I liked it."

"You're disgusting." Jungkook ignored her and quickly stood up to get dressed. "I don't want to talk to you ever again."

"Why? Don't you have responsibilities towards me now?" she teased. "Aren't we dating?"

"Shut up!" the other shouted in reply as he hurriedly fixed dressed himself up to get away in the room fast. "If anything, you're the one who took advantage of me. But nothing happened, that is what I believe and you won't change that."

Around three pm, the same time Jungkook had an unwanted accident. With a heavy heart, Taehyung went back home to his parents. Hoping that the pain he felt would get lighter at the sight of them.

He expected to see his house with brightly lit decorations and his mother and father probably grilling something outside acting like love birds to each other.

Well, expected.

Other houses near them even had energetic music playing in their stereo. But the Kim's residence was ordinary that it seemed like a black sheep to their neighbors.

"Last year I remember we prepared to celebrate, why didn't they celebrate it this time?" Taehyung thought out loud as he parked his bicycle in the front gate.

Curiously, he stepped into the front porch. "Hey mom—"

"Get out! I don't want to see you ever again!"

Thinking it was him, Taehyung flinched where he stood as he heard the loud tone of his mother angrily shouting. Though it turns out to not be him, so he quickly stepped aside to a place where he wouldn't be easily seen.

"I'm leaving anyways, just stay in this useless house." this time another voice interrupted. It was from his father's.

"I am not going to stay in this dump. Not after you brought your woman here. You ruined our relationship."

"It was ruined since like, three years ago. I don't get it why you act like we're a perfect family in front of your son—"

"Our son."

"I don't have a son like him. Now that he's out on that dorm of his we no longer have a facade to make."

"You told me to bring him there! What makes you not accept him as your son? Are you ashamed—"

"Yes, I am. I stopped being his father the day he admitted he was gay."

"But when he admitted that you seemed so fine."

"It's just a show. Anyway, our whole family is just a show—"

Taehyung's dad stopped on his tracks as he locked eyes with his son crying from where he stood. The luggage he was holding fell down from his hands making his mother stop speaking as well.

"S-So I had to learn the truth about our family this way." Taehyung stammered as his tears continued to fall down from his eyes.

"Taehyung honey, your dad and I are just... acting! Yes, aren't we good?" His mother released an awkward laugh while walking towards him, but Taehyung raised his hand up stopping her.

"You probably won't understand, earlier something really bad happened to me and it hurts my feelings. I went back here thinking that this place is where I could get my comfort, but it turns out that it only made me feel a lot worse." he admitted.

"Taehyung—"

"Dad, did you not really accept me? Are you ashamed for my exsistence?" Taehyung questioned. So not only Jungkook—at first—was the one who seemed humiliated for exposing their relationship to the public. Even his own dad was.

"No you don't understand. I only got to say that because we were arguing—"

"I don't what to believe in anymore!" he shouted at the both of them. "Just tell me the truth, no matter how hurtful it is. I don't want to live in a life full of lies."

Taehyung's mother stood up straight and began explaining. "Everything you heard about me and your father is true, we want to void our marriage. Just choose which one of us will you follow. Will you live with me or your dad?"

"...nobody." Taehyung sighed as a reply. "You both want to leave the house, right? This house is grandma's as far I remember. I can just stay here and both of you could leave happily on your own ways."

It was all awkward silence until his dad decided to break the ice.

"I'll leave." he said as he picked his luggage up and went to the front gate.

Taehyung wiped his tears and calmed himself down. His mother soon tapped his shoulder.

"I'll follow your good for nothing father. If he's still too hard headed, then I don't know what will happen next."

Until the next morning, Taehyung stayed in his room inside his house reminiscing about their family memories that happened there. His mother didn't come back, she broke her promise.

He cried himself to sleep, thinking about the painful memories with Jungkook and the argument he saw happening between his parents. It was painful, too painful. Every single thing seemed like they were against him. Maybe fate doesn't want him to be truly happy.

Taehyung felt hopeless.

Until he saw three objects that could probably relief himself from it.

A rope, the ceiling, and a chair.

Maybe it's time to end this all.
