When Jisoo arrived at school, she was immediately greeted by Jennie.
"Hey," Jennie said as she hugged Jisoo.
"Hi," Jisoo said, hugging the younger girl back.
"I missed you." Jennie admitted as she pulled away.
"It's only been a day," Jisoo chuckled. "But I kind of missed you too."
"Kind of?" Jennie asked, raising an eyebrow. "C'mon, just admit it, you missed me."
"Fine," Jisoo rolled her eyes. "I missed you."
"I knew it," Jennie smirked.
"Whatever," Jisoo said, crossing her arms over her chest.
"Anyway, can I walk with you to class?" Jennie asked shyly.
"You don't have to ask, but yes." Jisoo replied, smiling.
Jennie smiled back as she grabbed Jisoo's hand and started walking down the hall.
"So, where's your girlfriend?" Jisoo asked.
"She stayed home. She's sick." Jennie answered.
"Oh, okay," Jisoo said.
"You know, I'm surprised you even ask about her," Jennie said.
"Why?" Jisoo asked.
"Because you have feelings for me. Wouldn't you not want me to talk about her?" Jennie chuckled.
"I don't mind you talking about her," Jisoo lied.
"Whatever you say," Jennie shrugged.
A few minutes later, the two girls made it to their class.
When they walked into the class hand-in-hand, everyone stopped their conversations to stare at them.
Jisoo was about to let go of Jennie's hand, but Jennie just held her hand tighter.
"Just ignore them," Jennie whispered.
Jisoo nodded, then the two girls slowly made their way to their seats.
"People are still not over that rumor," Jisoo stated as she sat down.
"Just let them be," Jennie said. "They'll stop talking about it sooner or later."
"I hope so," Jisoo whispered to herself.
Just then, Jisoo got a text from Lisa.

Just so you know, I'm not gonna be able to make it to lunch. I've got some stuff to catch up on.
To: Lisa
Who am I supposed to have lunch with then?
From: Lisa
You can finally have lunch with Jennie, since her girlfriend's not here.
To: Lisa
How'd you know she's not at school?
From: Lisa
whoops gotta go bye
Jisoo shook her head as she placed her phone on her desk.
That was weird, Jisoo thought to herself.
"Hey, Jennie," Jisoo spoke up, getting Jennie's attention.
"Yeah?" Jennie asked.
"Do you want to have lunch together?" Jisoo asked.
