A distant shadow emerges into the night
Bringing with it so much fright
Come with me it calls to a lonely child
The child is so meek and so mild
To her the shadow seems so very exciting
However to her Heart the person seems so very frightening
She steps forward and is trapped in its deafening hold
She realizes then that her heart is cold
But all is not over she will then find out
There is always hope after a drought
There are those waiting with open arms
To whom you have done so much harm
For at the end of the tunnel it will always be bright
You just have to remember to turn on the light
