Migraine Troubles
*Shannon's POV*
"Shannon..." Shawn groaned.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"My head hurts really really bad. I need to lie down for a bit." He said holding his head. He got up and went to our bedroom.
I decided to help him with his headache. It seems pretty bad, it's probably a migraine.
I went to check and see if we had any acetaminophen in our medicine cabinet. We didn't have any so I threw on some shoes to make a quick trip to a drug store down our street.
I grabbed Shawn's keys to his Jeep and walked out the door. I got in the Jeep and drove to the store.
Once I got to the store, I searched for some acetaminophen pills. I couldn't find any but I found a liquid pain reliever.
Liquid medicine is horrible but it's the only way to make him feel better since there are no pills. I grabbed some and paid for it.
I headed back home and went to the bedroom. I saw a crying Shawn, hugging his teddy bear.
"Oh, Shawn." I said.
"It hurts, Shan..." He whined.
"I got you some medicine." I showed him the medicine.
"Liquid? No, it's nasty! Bleh." He said, making a face.
"You have to take it. It'll help."
"No."
"Well, I guess I'll do..." I grabbed his teddy and took it. "This."
"No! Mr. Cuddles!" He cried.
"Take your medicine and I'll give him back."
"Can I have him then take the medicine?"
"You can have him after you drink the medicine."
"Fine." He pouted.
I handed him a small cup of the medicine. He plugged his nose and downed the medicine.
"There." I said and gave him back his teddy.
He's so cute!
