I Still Care
*Your POV*
A while back, a couple of years to be exact, my ex boyfriend, Shawn, left me for a girl, Chloe. I wouldn't blame him though, she had fame and riches.
I've been single ever since, I just can't get over him. I've tried to get over him with this guy, Brent, but I just can't.
As always, I'm sitting in my living room watching Netflix in the dark.
It's currently two in the morning.
I was about to doze off when the doorbell rang. Who would be here this late?
I grabbed my bat I keep, just in case. I slowly opened the door to reveal a crying Shawn. Wait, Shawn? Crying?
"(Y/N), it's been so long." He sniffed.
"Sh-Shawn, why are you here?" I asked. I dropped the bat I was hiding. He means no harm.
"I realized I missed you. You probably don't care, but you gave me everything Chloe didn't."
"Isn't that kinda too late to realize? Shawn, I've been trying to move on and forget you. But you came back." I said and broke down crying.
He hugged me. "I know you missed me, just admit it."
He made me cry more. "Yes, I did."
We cried in the doorway for awhile.
After a few minutes of sobs and tears, I said, "By the way, I still care."
