Dear Ariella,

You left the next day.

The pain was so unbearable,

To see you leave again.

I cried and cried after you left,

And looked up your flight time.

It was 2:35 PM.

I threw some pants, boxers, shirts, a brush, toiletries, and my wallet into a suitcase.

I bought some tickets online.

By the time I left,

It was 2:03.

I was never going to make it.

I rushed through security, getting yelled at by a few guards until they realized I was obviously not here to terrorize.

I heard your flight number call, and sprinted harder than I ever have.

When I got to your gate,

You were already handing in your ticket.

I screamed your name,

You spun around, cranking all heads at us.

I told you I couldn't let you slip away again.

You ran up to me, and kissed me passionately before saying, and I quote,

"I have to leave. I need to stop your pain. I'm no good for you."

And with that you left.

I sort of just broke down,

Right there.

Pity hung in the room like a wet cloth, but I didn't care.

You couldn't end my pain by leaving

So I would end it myself.
