Courting Jungkook

Chapter 5

CHAPTER FIVE

Chaeyoung is not feeling well but still decides to do to school. Even she really don't want to. Her body is weak and her heart is aching but she has exams to attend to.

Now that the University week has ended, she barely see Jungkook. Even if she's hurt, just a glimpse of him makes her heart happy. Not so happy tho cause he's always with Jieun.

She's at the cafeteria sitting in the farthest corner facing the wall. She's not feeling well today and seeing Jungkook and Jieun together will not make her any better.

How she wish to be Jieun. Even just for a day.

She is wearing a coat and her hair is tied up in messy bun. She's wearing glasses and a mask that is hanging from her left ear to cover up her pale bare face.

She is quietly having a moment there. Thinking about things that's only stressing her out when a group of noisy boys sit on the table beside her.

She groaned and pouted. They just ended her not so peaceful moment.

She was about to leave since she don't want to finish her food anymore for she's already full and since it's not quiet anymore, when she heard Jungkook's name. She quickly sit back again.

She glanced at the boys and recognized them. She always see those boys whenever she visits Jungkook's department building. Maybe they are classmates or maybe just attending the same course.

"Is Jungkook and Jieun are really dating?" asks this tall boy with broad shoulders.

She quickly put her mask on, hold on her drink in the table and pull up her coat's collar to cover her face. They can't recognize her! She wanted to eavesdrop a little. Just a little. Hearing his name concerns her.

"I'm sure they're not, hyung. It's obvious that it's all an act." the very handsome guy who is wearing a gucci jacket answers him with a pout.

He is acting cute but his low sexy voice contrast his behavior.

"And why would they do that?" asks the other guy with a arched brow before sipping on his drink. He has a gummy smile and this super white complexion.

"For sure it's because of Chaeyoung." the gucci guy says as he munch at his food.

"Who's Chaeyoung?" ask the other guy as he flips his hair. Chaeyoung's eyes widen as she hears her name being mention.

"That beautiful fine arts student that always follows him. Ugh. I don't know what's wrong with Jeon but if I were him, I will never hurt her. She looks too precious to be treated like that. And what did she even like with that kid? A---" the gucci guy says seriously but was interrupted.

"Okay, wait up Taehyung. You sounded in love." Jimin, the guy to always hold onto his hair said with an amused smirk.

"Am I?" Taehyung asks with a pout then his lips turns into a boxy smile.

"I can't blame you tho. She really is gorgeous." Jin, the one with a broad shoulder agrees to him.

Hearing the complements from the other table about her made her pale skin turn in to a light shade of red.

"Okay, wait up. Why I haven't seen this Chaeyoung before?" asks the gummy boy, Yoongi.

Taehyung face palmed. "If you just don't sleep every chance you get hyung, you might see her. She's literally in our department everytime. At first I thought she's taking the same course as ours." he then put his arms to Yoongi's shoulder. "And please hyung. You don't need to see her."

The other boys laughed at him. "As if I want to see her." Yoongi scoffed.

"Oh Yoongi, you wi---"

"Hello guys! I'm Park Chaeyoung. Nice to meet you all." Chaeyoung suddenly butt in to their conversation. She was widely smiling and bow at them before she sit beside Taehyung.

Taehyung who obviously has a crush on her had his mouth open. Chaeyoung close it for him and pinched him on the cheeks.  "You're so cute."

The others were also shock seeing the girl they're just talking about. They felt they were caught red handed.

Jimin was the first to recover. "Hi Chaeyoung. I'm Jimin!" and he offers her a hand for a handshake. Chaeyoung gladly takes it. "Nice to meet you, Chae. Can I call you that?"

Chaeyoung being the nice person she is, gently nodded. "Sure. No problem."

Taehyung playfully tap Jimin's hand that's still holding Chae's and glared at him.

"Hi Chae. I'm Taehyung. Just call me Tae."

She smiled at him and give him a tap on his shoulder for they are just beside each other.

"Hi. I'm Jin! Nice to meet you Ms. Park." he also gave her a hand that she politely accept.

Chaeyoung turns her head to Yoongi waiting for his introduction but he just take a quick glance at her and tell his name to her cooly. "Yoongi."

Chaeyoung nodded her head and turns his attention back to Taehyung. "So, about Jungkook--" she started and look at Taehyung straight in the eyes hoping he'll get what she meant. But he didn't. He's just smiling at her weirdly. She waved a hand in his face. "Hey, Tae? Is it true that Jieun and Jungkook were not really dating?" she asked straight forward.

Taehyung then came back from his senses. He think if he's really gonna answer her. He's not in the right place to interfere with their life. He knows for sure that nothing is going between Jieun and Jungkook.

But.

But he's too mesmerized to the girl beside him who is smiling cutely at him. Her hazel orbs that's looking straight to his own ones that's looks eager for an answer. He slowly nodded and gave her his infamous boxy smile.

"Really?" she asks again as Taehyung nodded again.

"Seriously?" she asks again but instead for Taehyung become pissed he find it cute and answer her. "Yes."

Chaeyoung happily clapped like a kid given a new toy. She felt her little fever just magically vanish. Her heart felt very happy.

Taehyung widen his eyes as the girl suddenly hugs him. "You don't know how you made my day." she whispered into his ears that send chills down his spine. It's their first face to face encounter but she already has this effect on him.

Chaeyoung finally got up from her seat. "Thank you guys! It was really nice meeting you all! I owe you one. See you around." Then she turn to Taehyung. "Bye Tae!" then winked at him before leaving the cafeteria with a smile.

Taehyung hold onto his heart. It was crazily beating fast.

"Yah!" Jin called his attention. He keeps smiling but suddenly some fries fall on his cheeks.

He look at Jimin who is laughing, his eyes almost gone. He threw the fries back to him.

"Yah, Taehyung. You fool!" Yoongi told him shaking his head.

He was confused. "Why hyung? What did I do to you?"

Jin is the one who answers him. "You shouldn't have say yes. Let me tell you this Mr. Kim Taehyung, you just made her go back to Jeon."

"Yeah right!" Taehyung frown at the realization and pouted. His friends just laugh at him like there's no tomorrow.

honestly i have no plans on writing an update but something triggered me. lol 😂😂😂

and please feel free to correct my errors (nicely. hahaha) so that i can get back to them faster 😳 nyeongan

ps. for now, tae is just a cameo. i still don't know where to put him in my story line since i'm just translating it. but who knows? something might triggered me again 😂
