To be honest,
I was naïve.
I trusted people easily.
I got myself fooled in a short amount of time.
But I smile instead
Wishing that it had shortened the distance between us.
To be honest,
I was easily swayed.
I believed people easily.
I got myself humiliated for doing absurd things.
But I smiled instead
Wishing that the bond links us closer.
To be honest,
I'm tired.
I'm tired of trusting people easily.
I'm tired of believing in their words.
I'm tired of lying to myself.
I can't tie the rope between us
But I stubbornly relied on it.
To be honest,
Now I'm going to stop.
Stop lying to everyone.
Stop lying to myself.
But I'm going to love myself instead.
