"Alright so, see you tomorrow?" Watari asked
"Sure." Kaori smiled weakly
The trio got up and made way for the door.
"Kousei. Can I.. talk to you?"
Kousei sat down again on one of the hospital chairs
~Silence~
"So, are you.. playing the piano?" Kaori asked
"I haven't touched it." Kousei said looking down
Kaori looked at him sadly "Stop beating yourself up over this. I'm fine. Everything's going alright."
Kousei nodded, still looking down
"Your heart stopped."
"Yeah."
"UGH stop being all mopey!" Kaori threw a pillow at him
"Agh, I'm sorry!" Kousei cried
"What I really wanted to talk to you about" she threw him a dirty look "Was this." She pulled out a letter
Seeing the puzzled look on his face, she continued "It's my goodbye letter."
Kousei's eyes popped "WHAT!"
"No, no!" Kaori said quickly "From before. Y'know, when everyone thought I was dead meat. I had, well, written a confession in it too." She looked down "And I think it's time I should actually tell you. To your face."
'To my face?' Kousei wondered
"Kousei.." Kaori took a deep breathe
"I love you."

"Hey, have you seen Kousei?" Watari asked
"No." Tsubaki replied
They walked together in silence
"Hey Tsubaki?" Watari asked, when they finally arrived to her house "I was wondering if you uh-"
'This is it!' Tsubaki thought
"-ever heard from Lee-san. I mean, I took her out and everything, but I don't know whether we really clicked. Did she say anything about me?"
Tsubaki stared at him "You idiot!" she slapped him upside the head, then walked into her room, laughing to herself
