                          "hey, uh, eddie?" richie asked. 

                          "mhm?" eddie hummed, not looking away from the episode of friends that was playing on the tv. 
                          "are we.. like... dating now?" 
                          "um... i don't know... do you wanna... be dating me?" eddie asked, looking away from the tv. 
                          "yeah.. but, like, after what i did to you... do you wanna?" he asked. 
                          "of course i want to date you," eddie smiled. richie let out a sigh of relief he didn't know he was holding in and smiled back. richie kissed the other boy's nose and scooted closer to him. 
                          "i love you"
                          "love you too"
