"i should probably get home," richie said. eddie pouted and shook his head.

"don't leave meeeee," eddie whined.

"whyyy?" richie imitated.

"because then i'm gonna be all alone for three days," he whined.

"why?"

"my mom's out of town and she decided i was okay enough to not have a babysitter this time"

"this time?"

"nah i didn't- i didn't say that" eddie blushes. richie laughed and kissed his cheek.

"eds, i have to leave. i'll come back tomorrow, yeah? i'll take you out to eat," richie said. eddie thought for a moment and smiled.

"okay. you're paying, though"

"yes, of course"
