Soon after Nick and Chris come in the room.

Nicks looks me over with a sad look on his face and it makes me want to cry.

"I guess Chris told you."

"Yeah."

I don't know what to say now. All I can do is have a sad smile.

I wonder how I look to him.

Usually I wouldn't care but his opinion means everything to me.

Notice how I'm a different person when I'm around him?

"Uh you guys can take a walk or something, we'll finish packing for you." Caramel says.

"Thanks I totally owe you guys."

"No not really, we didn't have to go to class so it's cool." Chris says.

Chris is kinda like the male version of Caramel.

He's shy and he's a sweetheart.

"Yeah but I would appreciate it if you gave me those earrings when you get back." Rachel says, spinning in one of those spiny chairs.

I laugh. "You got it. We'll be back."

"Ya'll be good!!"

"And use a condom!!"

WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THESE KIDS!!

I roll my eyes and shut the door as Nick and I walk out.

I look at him and he looks at me.

"Soooooo?"

"So?"

"Where were you yesterday?"

"How about, we go back to my dorm and I can tell you, instead of us standing here in the hallway."

"Ok."

The boy dorms are all the way at the other side of the school. Yah, they don't want us near each other at night.

Luckily everybody is in class so no one is here to give us suspicious looks as I walk into his dorm...

I must be smiling cuz he looks at me funny as I sit on his bed..

"What are you smiling at?"

"Nothing." I say, laughing and shaking my head.

He probably thinks I'm mentally disturbed, and if I told him otherwise it would probably be a lie.

But anyway..

"So you asked me where I was yesterday right?"

I nod.

"I had to talk to someone, it's not really important."

"Oh."

In my mind I'm like: Why are you so timid with me? Why don't you tell my stuff, why don't you ask me out?!"

But I'm leaving, so I really don't wanna mess anything up.

"So, are you nervous?"

I nod. "I have to live with another family, live another girl's life! How could I not be nervous."

"Well Caramel and Chris are coming with you, and Bentley right? So it shouldn't be that scary. By the way, I meant to ask you why you didn't ask me to go."
