Chapter 3:

My alarm clock went off.  I turned over and slapped it to stop it.  I sat up and stretched.  Someone knocked on my door, “Come in” I said tiredly. Aunt May walked in, closing the door behind her.  “What’s up?” I asked, standing up. “I need you to come downstairs when you get dress.” before I could ask, why she left.  “Okay..” I said slowly, changing into some clothes.  I walked downstairs, stopping at the bottom step when I see a kid standing there, he had brown hair and bright blue eyes, he had pale skin and he was about 5’8, if I had to guess I say no older then 13.  “Um.. Who is this?” I asked, pointing to the boy.  “Peter, this is Louis McAaron, he will be staying with us” Aunt May said. “Its nice to meet you Peter” Louis held his hand out.  “You too” I shook his hand.  “Aunt May, can I speak with you in the kitchen?” I asked, letting Louis’s hand and walking to the kitchen.  I turned and looked at my Aunt.  “Why is he staying with us?” I asked quietly. “Well, you are never home, I need help around the house and his parents died, jut like yours” Aunt May said.  I bit my lip. My parents were a touchy subject.  I sighed. “Okay, I should give him a chance, but if he touch my comic book collection, I will kill him” I said, half joking/half serious.  I’m real iffy about my comic books.  I walked back in to the living room.  Louis shot up from the couch, “Hi” He waved. I chuckled at his nervousness “Peter is going to clean out the guest room for you”  I gave my Aunt a look but nodded. I walked upstairs, Louis following closely behind me.  We made it to the room, it was full of boxes…Mainly mine. “Wanna help me Louis?” I asked as I grabbed the first box.  He smiled, showing dimples. “Yeah!”  He grabbed a box and sat down in front of me. “So, what do you for fun Peeta?” He smirked, going through the box.  “Oh you know..I do alittle web design,” I said, rolling my eyes at the nickname. “Whoa!” Louis said.  “What?” I asked, he pulled out my old Spider-man suit. “You got to tell me where you got this!” He looked at me with wide eyes.  I looked at it, “I didn’t get it from anywhere…I made it” I said. His eyes got wider, if that is possible. “You did?!” He asked

“Yeah, you know, for the Comic-Con” I said.  “You like Spider-man?” He asked, putting the suit in the box. “Yeah” I said, blushing slightly. “I do too!” He cheered.  I chuckled,  after a few minutes of awkward silent. I coughed. “Lou, do you think Spider-man is a menace?” I asked. He looked up at me.  “Hell no! Those cops can go suck it!”  I busted out laughing. “Hang on Louis, I want to give you something” I stood up, walking over to a box and pulling out my DC comics. “Here, as a welcome gift” He took them; he stood up and hugged me. “Thank you!” He said, over, and over, I patted his back, “You are welcome Lou. Now let’s get this done,” I said.

A few hours later we cleaned the room, I even helped him get settled in. “There you go.  All settled in” I smiled.  “Thanks again Peeta” He smirked. “Enough with the nickname” I warned, smirking. He rolled his eyes. “Well, I’m going to take a nap.  Now out” He smiled as he pushed me out of the room. I shook my head, walking into my room and changing into my spider-man suit.  I jumped out of my window.  I swung around the city, I jumped on a roof, my spider-sense went off and I was tackled, I pushed off the person and sat up. I went to go lunge at the person but I stopped down in my tracks. “Hey, Spider-man. I’m Spider-boy”
