The Magical Rose (A Short Story) [Completed]

Introduction

Long time ago, in a faraway land, stood the kingdom of Redd. There, ruled King Richard and Queen Tiffania. Their love bore to two twin princesses; they were name Princess Natalia and Princess Alleria.

            Once, on the day of the twin’s coronation, a wicked witch appeared out of nowhere.                          King Richard said with surprise “Mekurah?!”                                                                                                                Mekurah: I see it is your daughters’ coronation. How tremendous!                                                                                                           “What are you doing here?”  Exclaimed Queen Tiffania.                                                                                                           “Ohh, I just came to say hi because you didn’t invite me in this Oh-So-wonderful celebration of yours!” shouted Mekurah as she observed the room.                                                                       “Is that so? Well now you may go. Leave this castle at once!” shouted the king.                                                                                    The witch laughed and said “How rubbish”.

The witch ruined the castle and burned the whole place. People in the kingdom started to panic as the fire grew. King Richard took Alleria as they tried to escape; on the other hand, Queen Tiffania had Natalia. The queen and the king separated ways for escape. As the fire surrounded King Richard, he had no choice but to beg for the witch’s pity for Princess Alleria alone. The queen accepted and took Princess Alleria, after then, she left the king dying as the fire burns him.

“So long, it would’ve not come to this if you chose the right way.” Said Mekurah.

            While Queen Tiffania and Princess Talia hid at a big rock Mekurah was searching for them, out of a sudden Mekurah saw them. Queen Tiffany had a power of creating a force field that can block magic. The witch was very mad that she casted a spell saying:

 Every year of the Twins’ birthday, a petal of rose will be removed and the hand of the princesses will have a small mark with a trace of blood, and after two days, it will be reformed to its normal state.

 Queen Tiffania was very afraid and worried because she wants to get Princess Alleria from Mekurah. From then the lives of the twin princesses were separated.
