Charisma POV:

Getting to the house August wasn't here yet which I was grateful for because I was nervous already and I didn't need him asking questions about why. Going to go take a shower and change into something more comfortable. 

Going to the kitchen I decided on cooking all his favorites which was fried chicken, mac and cheese, collard greens, cornbread and yams.

I already had chicken thawed out so all I had to clean and season it. Once I got started I turned music on hearing Chris Brown Pills and Automobiles come through the speaker making me get hype a little and started twerking while stirring the mix for the cornbread.

Grabbing a pan from the cabinet I almost dropped it because hands wrapped around my waist scaring the shit out of me.

"August why do you always do that" I whined as he kissed my neck

"Sorry baybeh" He laughed "You in here cookin' all my favorite" He let my waist go opening the pot of collard greens

"Thought I'll be nice and cook since my baby been working hard all day" I said smiling and he narrowed his eyes at me

"Fuck you being so nice fa'." He asked sitting on the counter

"I can't be nice to my man?" I asked pouring the mix into the pan and putting it into the over and took out the macaroni and cheese since it was done

"You could but it's usually sex when you "tryin" to be nice" He said making me laugh

"Fuck you" I said through my laughter he smirked before shrugging

"I'm just sayin' though I wouldn't mind you be layin' it down on a nigga but this will do fa' na' I'm finna take a shower though" He kissed my cheek before going upstairs

Finishing up the food while he was in the shower he came down stairs with his hair slightly damp meaning he just washed his hair

"Food almost done?" He asked

"Its done want me to make your plate?" I asked he nodded after doing so I made mine and poured myself apple juice while he getting him a beer.

"Thank you baybeh this almost as good as my mamas" He said as he stuffed his face

"Thank you but slow down babe the food ain't going nowhere" I wiped the corner of his mouth with a napkin "When am I going to be able to meet your mother?" I asked

"Soon she suppose ta' be comin' out here in a month or two" He said with his mouthful making me roll my eyes

"Geez Aug don't eat with your mouth full" I turned my lip up eating some of my food

"How was work?" I asked making conversation

"It was straight" He shrugged "Wasn't much ta' do today" He said before taking a sip of his beer

"Aug can I ask you something?" I played with the food on my plate

"Go on ahead" He gave me his attention
