"Do we actually have go to school?" I whined to Sadie as we drove to school after stopping at my house so I could say hi to my parents—they both were too busy to visit me in the hospital, and too busy to welcome me home this morning—
"Yes. I can't miss a full day of school Millie, you know that... I'm already late which I never am" she seemed annoyed
Sadie really was never the kind of person to skip a day of school (even though we do go to boarding school so it is quite easy), or hand in an assignment late... she didn't particularly get good grades though, but she is trying really hard, I know that. That's why we have always worked well together, I'm not afraid to skip a day of school and I often hand in assignments late, we are opposites
But I get almost all A's except for a B and a maybe C here and there, which I don't mind.
Sadie does get jealous, sometimes.
I sighed "it's boarding school! It's fine if you're a little late" I reminded her and stuck my hand —that wasn't attached to the bad arm—out the window, it was slightly cold outside signally that fall was indeed on its way. I looked out the window and saw that some leaves had fallen
Huh fall coming early I thought
"What? are you not too excited to see rome-hoe" she snickered at her clever nickname
"Funny. And actually I am excited to see him, I think I might gonna break up with him." I said proud of myself for finally making this decision... after cheating on him with my best friend.
"Hm really? Thought you said 'you loved him'" she mimicked my British accent in a high pitched manner
"Shut up! I don't love him" I snap then smile to let her know I'm not actually mad
"Who is it then?" She said looking at the road
"W-what?"
"Ya' know, whos the Prince Charming that swept you away from your evil step mother... father?" she smirked
What the fuck? I laughed at what she said
"No one, god you're so annoying." I said blushing thinking about Finn
Ugh stop
"Honey, you're blushing" she said as she pulled into the student parking lot
"Okay you don't have to tell me, but I'll find out" she said smiling as she pulled she keys out of the ignition and got out
"Mmk' will you come with me up to my room" I asked
"Oh yeah, sure. I think Sophie stole my shirt so I'll look for that too"
Sophie is my roommate, she has only been for at Putney(the school) for two years, since freshman year, so has Noah. Finn and I have been here since 7th grade, our parents were too busy to drive us to school and pick us up, so they sent us to a boarding school the second they could. But Finn and I have know each other since 5th grade, we weren't really friends till boarding school though.
