I thanked Finn for giving me one of his shirts and threw it on
I was wearing black jeans from the day before with rips in the knees, and now a Pink Floyd shirt that I tied in the front to keep it from looking too baggy... damn I really look like an emo now.
As we walked out the door I pulled on my white sneakers, and Finn grabbed his back pack while putting a baseball hat over his dark curls
"Ready?" He asked looking into my eyes "duh Wolfhard now let's go" I scoffed and started walking towards the front doors of the hotel
First we decided we would go to some clothing stores

"How does does this look" I said walking out of the dressing room with the most expensive dress I could find on, it was emerald green with long sleeves and covered in sparkling crystals and gems.
"Wow mills" Finn said looking up, I smiled while twirling "I've like never seen you wear a dress" he added blinking his eyes and shaking his head at what he was seeing, he stood up from the stool he was sitting on and made his way towards me
I twirled a threw my head and arms back "It's 'cause I don't" I laughed feeling a bit dizzy from twirling, I had paired to $700 dress with my beat up white converse, what a great look. "now you just need heels princess" he said while bowing as if I were royalty... I didn't know it in that moment but my cheeks had turned red at the nickname
"No we need to go it's already 2" I said giggling "could you unzip it for me Finn?" I asked not thinking anything of it
His face turned pink "y-yea" he said after processing what I just asked him for a minute he didn't seem to be smiling too much any more, he seemed.. embarrassed?
He walked closer to me and slowly unzipped my shimmering dress, it tightly hugged my body so as the zipper was going down it kinda tickled, I squirmed a bit
"there ya go buddy" he patted my shoulder I could tell he was trying not to look at my exposed back, my eye brows furrowed at the name buddy, that's a new nickname ... but I brushed it off
"Thanks, I'll be right out" I said as I walked into the dressing room I was originally in
I heard Finn talking to someone outside... maybe someone who worked here
I walked out and saw a tall blonde girl, with curly hair. she was pretty.
"Hey Finn, who is she?" I asked smiling at the blonde mystery girl, he looked at me realizing I was out of the dressing room "oh this is Iris, she's an old friend" he smiled at her, I looked at her thin lips covered in red gloss... and her golden curly hair that was flipped to one side
"Hello! I'm Millie" I introduced myself Iris smiled quickly then looked back at Finn "well nice talking to you Finnie!" She fluttered her long dark eyelashes and hugged him, she was only slightly shorter than him "and it was nice meeting you Millie!" She forced a smile I could tell
I don't think she likes me too much I thought
And she walked off
Finn stood there staring at the direction she left in
I felt something in my stomach I didn't know what it was but I didn't like the feeling, putting that aside I asked "you guys seem close" I smirked at him wanting to know more, but saying that didn't make the feeling go away it made it worse
"Yea we were, shes my ex" he let out a sigh, and so did I... the feeling started to fade once he said that "so you don't like her anymore" I poked him in the chest playfully trying to make that question less awkward and he laughed "no, I got my eye on someone else" he looked at his feet smiling
It looked like he was contemplating something... "okay whatever you say Wolfhard" that feeling had left, I smiled.
And with that we were off back into the bustling city
