Rhea POV

I looked at the beautiful pink dress, a soft smile creep on my face.

This beautiful dress was for my unborn baby. Inaayos ko ang mga gamit ng baby at tinitignan kong ano pang dapat bilhin. Mainit ang sikat ng araw sa labas, buong araw lang akong nasa kwarto habang nag-aayos.

It's been a week since my last encounter to the king. I haven't seen him for a while and I don't plan to meet him soon.

Hanggang ngayon may pasa pa rin ang kamay ko dahil sa pagkakahawak nya, it was slowly fading by day, but it still painful when I move it. I sigh. I still remember his harsh words, but I shake my head. I need to forget those tormenting words.

Napabaling ako sa pinto ng bumukas iyon at pumasok si Dever. Nakangiti ito habang papasok ng kwato, he was holding a glass of blood. Since the checkup, Dever insist to let me drink a 'special drink' na hindi ko alam kung paano naging special. Since then tuwing tanghali binibigyan nya ako ng 'special drink' I must say, special nga ito dahil simula ng uminom ako nun I feel more stronger and healthier. I think there something on this drink which is weird, but I don't bother to ask Dever.

"What are you doing?" he asked, while giving me the glass of blood.

"Arranging some dresses" simple kong sagot.

"Do you need some help?"

"No, I can handle this" I replied. I drinked the blood before giving it back to him. "Thank you" I said while giving the glass back.

"Anyway, Rhea I think it's time for you to have 'Queenly lesson" He said in a bored tone.

"Queenly lesson?"

He sighs "Well, King Zade say that you need to know your duty as a queen, which including etiquette, Vampire Laws etc. This will help you to know more about Vampire Realm at syempre iba pang realm" he said.

Napaisip ako sa sinabi nya. Do I really need to know about this thing? "What's the use of knowing this Queenly lesson? Hindi naman ako totoong reyna di ba?" I asked coldly.

Dever couldn't response to that because he knew that I am just here because of the baby. He gulped, I feel his emotions, He feel guilty, sad and pity. Before he said anything, I spoke.

"Sabihin mo nalang sa akin kung kailan ang lesson at pupunta ako."

He sighs again "I will. But the lesson was on the library siguro magsisimula ka na bukas. It's better if you start reading some books for laws and duties, nasa library lahat ng kailangan mo. Aayusin ko ang mga lesson at tutor na magtuturo sayo."

Tumango-tango ako. Then I look at him directly in the eyes, nagiwas ito ng tingin, napataas ako ng kilay, may hindi sya sinasabi sa akin. "May sasabihin ka pa?" I asked.

"Well...there is this lesson that part of the realm..well" nag-aalangan nitong dagdag. I wait for him to continue "Well. Do you know about the gate of realm?" Anito.

Gate of realm, I have heard it once from my mother. She said that on our world there are 4 realms, which included the werewolf, Faries, Angels and Vampire realm. Every realm has its gate. But the thing is no one knows how to enter and exit to this gate, except the kings. The four realms hold a treaty that no one, as in 'No One' ever crossed the gates. The realm should forever be separated, so that no one would attack another realm. This is the reason why 'peace' on another creature was build. This gate separates the realm, entering and exiting the gates was deadly, because anyone who crossed this gate would be killed, my mom said that the gates has a power to kill any creature, even the powerful creature.

I don't believe on her, it was a folk tale that they say to every child. I didn't believe her, until now.

"Naikwento sakin ni mama ang tungkol doon." sagot ko.

"Well, I don't know if this will also be included on your lesson. Pero kung masasama man, I want you to know that, walang magtuturo sayo ng tungkol dito, only one person can teach you about the Gate of Realm"

Nagtaas ako ng kilay "Who?"

"King Zade." He said. Hindi ako nakaimik, I don't think I want to learn about the Gate of Realm.

I left my lips after finishing the 3rd book. Mahilig ako magbasa ng libro kaya hindi nakapagtatakang nakatapos ako ng tatlong libro, simula ng sabihan ako ni Dever tungkol sa 'Queenly Lesson' nagsimula na akong magbasa. Napaunat ako sa pagkakaupo sa couch at napatingin sa labas ng bintana, wala na ang haring araw. Ibig sabihin buong araw akong nasa library? Hindi ko napansin ang oras.

I close the book and stand up. Katatapos ko lang basahin ang Basic law of Vampire realm, hindi naman ako na-bored habang binabasa iyon. Marami akong natutunan sa mga batas at mga kaparusahan nito, karamihan doon ay patungkol sa mga Rogue vampire, sa mga namumuno na gustong umangkin ng trono o titulo, at iba pa.

Napahikab ako, inaantok na ako. Siguro kailangan ko na magpahinga. Sabi sa akin ni Dever ibibigay nya sakin ngayong gabi ang schedule ko para bukas, hihintayin ko nalang sya sa kwart. Kinuha ko ang tatlong libro para ibalik iyon sa shelve. Naglakad ako papunta sa pinakadulo ng shelves, tinignan ko ng numero nun at hinanap kung saan ko ibabalik. Nakalimutan ko na kasi kung saan ko kinaha iyon, sa huling libro ako nahirapan. Hindi ko alam saang shelves ko iyon ilalagay. Sa pinakadulo ng library kung saan medyo dim ang ilaw ko nakita ang numero ng librong hawak. Bago ko pa mailagay sa sheleves ang libro, napatid ako ang nagkalat na libro sa sahig. Bakit may nagkalat na libro dito?

Ibinalik ko ang libro na hawak ko saka ko pinulot ang librong nasa sahig. Manipis ang librong iyon at medyo luma, walang title iyon at medyo nasisira na.

Because of curiosity I opened the book. like the book, some words written on here can't quite distinguish it was old enough to make the words fade, the book was hand written, whoever write this book is so unique. Tinitigan ko ang libro ng matagl, I can read some words but I don't understand it. "Let...die..to live?" basa ko.

Bakit parang may kakaibang ibig sabihin ang salitang ito? Tinignan ko pa ang ibang pahina "Red moon. .a life.....live" I gulped. I stop flipping the book when theirs a part I can clearly read "To wake the eyes. Let thou die, immolate a life thou shall it live."

My heart start to beat so fast....so fast that I feel like anytime it would burst. Nabitawan ko ang libro at malakas na bumagsak iyon sa sahig.

"He was a king, he had the ability to exchange the soul of his deceased wife to your body, he want Queen Dasell back. He doesn't want you"

Those words, hindi ko akalain na babalik sakin ang sinabi ng vampire rogue. Akala ko hindi iyon totoo, it was impossible? Was it possible?

Huminga ako ng malalim para kalmahin angmabilis na tibok ng puso ko. Does this make sense? Paano mabubuhay ang matagal ng patay?! Dasell was already dead and gone! How will he exchange the soul? Is that the reason why he wants me here? Does he want her back? I gulped and look at the book. Isang tanong ang lalong gumugulo ng utak ko. If he wants Dasell back, why did he not do it before?

At bakit kailangan ako?

Am I the sacrifice?
