"Where did you even find these outfits, Haze?" you questioned, looking at the attire she had picked out for you in the mirror, "It's so.. revealing. You know I don't wear stuff like this." "Okay, but when two fine ass chocolate men show up to our door soon, you're gonna thank me once you see yours practically drooling over you," Hazel smirked as she sat on her bed to put on her heels. You glanced over at her and gave her a crazy look, scrunching your nose up in distaste, "How can you even walk in those?" "I can do a lot in heels, sis," she winked, sticking her tongue out, causing your jaw to drop slightly. "You're so nasty." "Thanks," she beamed, standing up and strutting over to the mirror to stand beside you.

"It's all yours. I've looked at myself too long," you stated, getting out of Hazel's way so she could have the full-body mirror all to herself. You sat at the edge of your bed as you played with your hair slightly; Hazel had curled it to perfection, and she did your make-up pretty well too. Your best friend had talent when it came to making herself up, and boy, were you thankful that she could work some wonders on you as well. You glanced back over at the only friend you had known for the past four years, just admiring how beautiful she was.

You couldn't help but smile a bit as you thought about how her personality perfectly matched her looks. Humble, intelligent, caring—she was the whole package, a rare one to find. Hazel felt eyes staring into her skin, turning her head to see you still staring at her with the goofiest smile on your face. "What, girl?" she giggled softly. "You're just gorgeous, Haze. You know how to make yourself up, even when you don't even need all that to help you out physically, and you're just.. amazing. I always secretly wished I could be like you," you admitted, Hazel's eyes glistening at your words. She made her way over to you and took your hands into hers softly, making you stand up and follow her back to the mirror. She let go of your hands and took ahold of your shoulders, positioning you in front of her so you could take a look at yourself. "You wanna know what I see as I stare into this mirror?" she asked. You rose your eyebrow in confusion as you fiddled with your nails.

"I see.. the most beautiful human being God could have ever created. I see a great friend, an amazing future wife—a woman who's ready to take on the entire world because she has her life planned out perfectly. You call me beautiful and talented, but I see so much more of that in you, (Your Nickname). Stop doubting yourself, girl; you have to face your insecurities and learn to move out of your comfort zone. Be risky, do things you would never do—I think you'll like the person you release once you get to see her. You're better than me, (Your Name), so you should only want to be yourself."
