Abdul woke up to taps being delivered to the side of his face, opening his eyes he looked down it was his niece Mynia standing there staring back at him.
"Can I sleep with you and my MilMil?" She asked clutching her small blanket.
"Why what's wrong?" Abdul asked sitting up carefully moving Kamille off of him
"I miss mommy." She said looking down. Her mom was one of Steve's daughters but over the years all of them developed a close bond unfortunately Alicia couldn't come along on the trip but Ms. Pat offered to take Mynia anyways.
"You wanna call her?" Abdul asked looking at his phone seeing that it was a little past midnight.
"Yes please." She said lowly.
Mynia was really quiet and to herself a lot her being an only child had a lot to do with that since she didn't have t0 deal with other kids she didn't. She was only four but she was a very smart but no one really knew because she always kept quiet.
Abdul walked out the room with her as they entered the other part of the basement so that they wouldn't wake Kamille.
"Hey mommy!" She smiled as her popped up on the screen
"Hey baby what are you doing?"
"Nothing I-I missed you mama." She said as her lip started to to quiver.
"I know baby but you have to be a big girl. Remember what mama said right?"
"Yes ma'am" Mynia said wiping her face
"Alight you will only be gone a few days and im sure Mama Pat will make sure you have a good time but if you need me im only a phone call away okay baby?"
"Okay."
"I love you call me in the morning, your uncle back there looks worn out sleep tight."
"Love you too mama." She said handing the phone to Abdul the disconnected phone
"You still wanna sleep with us?"
She shook her head vastly as she quickly went back to the room. Instead of lying in between them she went around to Kamille's side and pulled the cover back attempting to get in the bed.
Abdul chuckled at her trying to be so independent and get in the bed that even Kamille had struggled to get into.
"Here mama." Abdul said putting her in the bed covering her up and kissing her forehead
"Goodnight." Mynia said getting comfortable
Abdul walked back around the bed and got back comfortable in the bed. He couldn't be under Kamille like he wanted to because Mynia had completely taken his girl from him and she was laying under her.
Both Abdul and Mynia had fallen back to sleep almost instantly after getting comfortable.
A few hours later everyone in the house was up running around the house worried.
"How the hell we lose a whole child!" Lamar said as he ran down the stairs into Abdul's room waking Kamille and Abdul with his loud mouth
"Chill out man." Abdul mumbled
"Nigga chill out? Yall lost a child I aint in this I don't know y'all never did matter fact why in the hell am I even here!" Lamar said dramatically
"Wait what do you mean yall lost a child who?" Kamille asked sitting up
"No yall lost her. Mynia wasn't in the room this morning."
"Shut up man Mynia is right here." Abdul said annoyed snatching the covers back revealing her small body
