Dear Calum,

You know how everyone says, a smile will light up the whole world? Is that the reason you find mine encouraging enough for you to ask out your crush?

I find nothing wrong with Lucy, and that's the whole point of why it hurts. She's nice and so active, the perfect girl for you. And if I were actually you, I wouldn't break up with someone as perfect as her. Besides, she can be my replacement since whatever your reason is you got a girl who can play the guitar.

I blame my smile. If it wasn't for me smiling all the time, hoping you'd find it attractive enough to like me back, you wouldn't think it's an encouraging smile when you asked for advice.

I faked smiled just for you. If I'm having a bad day I'll smile whenever you're around because I don't want you to think I'm a douche bag. Even when you're joke makes no sense, I still laugh the living shit out of me. Even though it hurts whenever you talk about her, I still smile just for the sake of it. I don't want you to find out I like you by me being jealous. But I'm too chicken to admit my fancy for you.

People would've think you're such a an asshole for not noticing. They can call you anything, but I would never agree. Because I just know you think so much of Lucy to notice my stupid crush. And to my shock, I actually understand.

I just wish you knew I only smile for you, and you're probably the last one I would to.
