Aspen followed the girl outside, it was chilly but not cold, they sat down under a big aspen tree. "Why'd you move here?" The girl asked while lighting the sigarette between her lips. "Erm.. my dad g-got a job here." Aspen stuttered, her french accent coming through. "Where are you from?" She asked, taking a drag from the cancer stick. "France." Aspen said and smiled to herself, just the thought of France made her smile. "Oh, I'm so sorry, I'm Cooperi but people just call me Cooper, I'm 19 and an Aussie, as you've probably noticed by now." Copper said and laughed. 'She has the most gorgeous laugh I've ever heard.' "What do you have in next period?" Cooper asked. "Math, what do you have?" Aspen asked, hoping she'd be in the same class as Cooper. "Maths, so we have the same." Cooper said and smiled. 'Do they say maths? I though they said math...' "Isn't it called math?" Aspen asked, her hands slightly shaking. "Yeah, but in Australia it's called maths." She said and smiled. 'That beautiful smile.' "Okay." Aspen said and smiled to herself as she blushed.
