Loneliness

Sometimes I feel low; all alone,
Like I'm the only one in the world,
But I am not alone, am I,
I have a Friend, The Lord on High.

In these such times, I whine and groan,
As though, my foes banners, unfurled,
Had made me then, curl up and cry,
Not address The Kingdom in the Sky

The latter is the wiser choice,
Or rather, the wiser choice in all,
Because no matter the issue, help, He Can,
If we pray to Him, for hope for Man.

So I'll pray to him with all my voice,
When my hope and heart begin to fall,
Because I'm more than a Star Trek fan,
I'm a son of Jehovah Nacham.

Loneliness I may still feel,
But to God's love, naught can compare,
For He is with me in all dark times,
And helps make them bright, with song and rhymes.

So, no, I am never truly alone,
Because God is always by my side,
And He gave me friends, to be there,
When I want to rip out my long hair.

I beg you to help me not to moan,
When you ask me along for the ride,
My loneliness fades, from my heart,
My faithfulness has set me apart
