The kids and the teens.

It seemed as though all the problems came crashing down only on a teenager. Never had Amber seen any kid getting into trouble for not completing his home work or having to study for horrendous tests. It was always the teens who had to go through that torment.

Can't eat too much, might get fat.

Can't stop eating, might get anorexic.

Can't study too much, might be named a geek.

Can't not study, might fail the test.

Can't dress comfortably, might come off as unfashionable.

Can't dress excessively, might come off as a slut.

Can't talk to boys, might come off as a whore.

Can't not talk to boys, might come off as anti-social.

Can't back answer to elders, might come off as a nuisance.

Can't keep calm, might come off as a coward.

Can't choose one's interests, fearing what the society would think.

There were many difficulties in a teen's life, whereas a kid didn't have anything to worry about.

They could play, without thinking of exams. Make friends, without thinking about fake and real. Tease people and have fun, without thinking about hurting them.

I want to be a kid again, but then again, I would have to go through all the teenage drama once again.
