Toya POV

August hasn't been home since the night he left.
I've been calling him night and day but I always get voicemail.
I don't know what's up with him but I'm worried, speaking of which these last days I've been throwing up a lot lately but I think it's nothing.
Now I'm here in the house all by myself, sitting on the couch eating peanut butter and watching Queen of the South.
And suddenly the door bell ringed and I got up and went to the door, I opened it and saw mama Sheila face swollen as if she was crying
"Mama sheila what's wrong" I asked her as she made her way in and I closed the door and we both went in the living room and sat down next to each other
"Come on mama Sheila what's wrong" I asked again holding onto her hands
"It's august" she said and start crying
"What about august" I asked confused
"He-he he's missing" she said breaking down.
I literally froze and her words repeating in my head 'he he he's missing'.
Tf! How did that happened
"How you mean he's missing" I said and you could hear the crack in my voice as I was trying to hold back my tears
"He just disappeared into thin air just like that" she said shaking her head and wiping her tears
"Sneak was shot three days ago and me knowing how august and sneak are like brothers, he probably went after them dam shooters" she said sounding pissed off as tears feel from my face
'Why is this happening why' I said to my self as my stomach started to feel a little weird
"OMG" I yelled out and run to the bathroom to throw up.
I was stooped down in front of the toilet and to feel my hair being removed from in front of my face and a back rubbing.
"You OK" mama sheila said
"I don't I've been doing this a lot lately" I said getting up and closing the toilet and flushed it
"Well you should see a doctor baby girl" mama sheila said
"No I'm fine it's probably nothing" I said walking over to the face bastin and putting some Listerine in my mouth. After spitting it out I washed my face
"Girl you need to see a doctor, august isn't hea right naw so I'm gonna be a mother in-law and tell you what's right, you need to go to the doctor and if you don't I'mma drag your ass Thea" mama sheila said folding her arms.
I just looked on her through the mirror and shook my head
"OK finnnee you win" I said throwing my hands in the air surrendering and turning around and say a smile appeared on her face
"Good" she said and I chuckled and we left out the bathroom.
