Wasted pearls
all over the room.A shattered ruby
hinted tomorrow's gloom.Melancholy lingered
over Her horizon.Preserving ghastly memories
from the autumn season. The wintry emotions
will soon claim the realmwhile the whole Kingdom
carved His name on the elm. This too shall pass,
so fear not Milady. For a child of spring
is the only cure for this malady. The summer days
will shed bright lighteven through
the darkest hours of midnight.Let those clouded mind
go astraytowards the nearest
cleansing bay.And forever pacify
the sacred lairof the most hallowed
Maiden fair.A/N:
i just saw Hamlet earlier.. the 1990 movie version.. . i wanted to see my mum hellie play ophelia... and i swear to heavens she did a really great job in there...
i probably stared too much at her innocent face.. it was probably the reason why my mind drifted off into an old Danish realm.. My fingers tried to lure back the thoughts back into reality and captured it into words as she finishes her lines...
it's not entirely ophelia from shakespeare.. those words are about how i imagined her.. .
