~Chapter TwentyFive~

(Klaus pov)

I sat and watched mason squirm in his crib. His breathing was heard in slight weaving sound but I let it bypass. Sarah was asleep on the other side of the room still in her hospital bed. Mason was starting to drift to sleep and i thought i might as well should. My eyes started drifting and then of course a loud crying noise came from the crib. Mason squirmed around in my arms.

"Hey Klaus, do you want me to get that under control?" Sarah asked drowsily

"No I got this, you go back to sleep now." I cooed calmly

"Thank you so much!" Sarah thanked me and then drifted back into sleep

I grabbed a bottle and gently put in the baby's mouth. Mason instantly went quiet and just drank slowly from the bottle. You can tell he was tired, but he was also hungry so I guess he had to choose. Did I think elena was a little crazy for instantly saying yes to the offer? Yes I did, but I understand because she has always wanted this. Of course as a vampire that would never happen, it does warm my heart to see her happy once again. I would never let anything hurt Mason, he needs to grow up cared for. He shall grow up in a happy home unlike me.

(Emilia pov)

My brother was dead, but was i in extreme pain. To admit this must be horrible, no i'm not. Yes, I loved my brother and i missed him dearly. It felt nice to have most of my siblings all back together but before that I hadn't seen Ace in hundreds of years. Niko on the other hand has been by my side when I needed him. Ace didn't show himself for who knows how long. Niko was there when I needed him.

Kol walked me to my room with Ember in his arms of course. I really didn't even know how to react with this whole situation. I'm gonna miss Ace but i won't be grieving for months. I really just needed to tell Niko right now. He may react a little different than me, he was always emotional asa kid.

"You texted me saying you needed to tell me something?" Niko wandered while walking into my bedroom

"Niko please sit down, this is really serious." I motioned for him to sit on the bed

"Emilia, I think you are being a little dramatic. Now just tell me what happened?" Niko asked slightly irritated

"Ace is dead, he was killed by Ethan." I whispered sadly

"Really where is he? Dont joke about these things!" Niko says seriously

"The thing is i'm not joking." I spilled out

"Stop, you can not be telling me we lost him again!" Niko sethed

"Niko please calm down, right now is not the time to freak out." I pleaded

"Actually I think right now is the perfect moment to freak out, sister!" Nico spat before he rushed out of the room

Will all the pain ever end?

(Ember pov)

The corner of my bedroom was the perfect place to rot away at the moment. I was going to die in this bedroom, that is one of the only things I knew. The darkness brought me bliss and hearing no noise felt like heaven. Kol said we were going to have to talk but I already knew what I was going to do. I am freaking out, I may seem somewhat calm on the outside but on the inside I just want to go bleed someone dry. Kol walked into my room super loudly, well as least it seemed like that. Just his footsteps sounded like how to would think a giant stomping into the ground would sound.

"Are you ready to drink some fresh human blood?" Kol queried as he brought a random girl into the room.

"Kol i'm not drinking human blood." I rasped as I was not trying to think of the girl standing behind kol

"Yes you are, if you don't you will die." Kol pestered

"Yes and that's what should happen. I'm not going to turn and that's the final saying of this situation." I claimed, because I for sure knew what i wanted

"Why don't you want to turn, give me one good reason!" Kol demanded

"I was born a witch, and our biggest enemy is vampires. So why would I want to become one?" I screamed back

"I'm sorry but i can't let you die yet. You are too young." Kol ended, then he bit into the girl's wrist and let her blood drip

"Kol please don't do this, I have no control right now! Please don't do this to me!" I pled in fear

Kol just looked at me and then pulled me up so I was standing. I couldn't help it anymore, everything inside of me told me to drink her blood. I did what everything inside told me to do.
