~Chapter TwentyOne~

(Sarah pov)

At the moment I was in labor and now I just need to get to the hospital. The baby's feet were kicking against my stomach, which it kinda hurt. The baby just needs to get out of me all ready so I can just move on. People did not like what I am choosing to do, I plan to give my baby up for adoption. Adoption feels like the best option, i'm just not ready. Maybe this baby can have a chance with a great family.

I pulled over to the side of the road because i needed to call my sister, Hannah. I put the phone on speaker and listened to the rings go by until i finally got an answer.

"Hello?" Hannah spoke with a shocked sounding coming after it because I never really call anymore

"Hannah it's time now, the baby is coming." I breathed calmly into the phone

"Don't worry Sarah i'm gonna get down there as fast as possible. Also before you go congrats!" Hannah squealed into the phone and then hung up

(Emilia pov)

Kol walked down the streets of New Orleans silently. The silence we had between us was actually peaceful, just hearing the jazz music as be walked down the street was good enough. People around us were dancing and screaming out loud noises. After what I did back in the alley Kol brought me into a restroom and helped me clean myself up. Blood of course was all over my face and clothes, so I needed a change of cloths and I need to clean myself up.

Kol didn't look to happy with me, but why would he be happy with me he found me in a valley ripping some innocent girls throat out. He couldn't really judge me because he kills people literally everyday. I was beginning to not like the silence because I felt this horrible tension between us.

"Kol what is your problem?" I provoked randomly

"Well I was randomly out for a walk when I heard a muffled scream, and you know what I found you sucking the life out of that poor girl!" Kol snarled

"Well aren't you just a hypocrite, you kill people every night and you don't see me getting all pissed at you for killing them!" I dared

"I can do whatever the hell I want, you can't!" Kol yelled

"It's a free world Kol, and besides what would you do if i continued killing!" I challenged

"I will kill you because you are slowly starting to lose control of yourself again!" Kol swore as he was getting more in my face

"I hate you so much sometimes!" my words were said as fast as a bullet, as I looked up at Kol I saw a shocked and angry face. I regretted my words very fast. Kol made his way towards me and wrapped his hands around my throat and then everything went dark.

(Ace pov)

Ember stood in front of me looking as beautiful as ever. Her light brown eyes as bright as ever but the pain was evident in her eyes. This young girl shouldn't have had to go through so much in such a young life. My family and I went through similar events but mine wasn't murdered. When she said it was her fault that her family died I needed to reassure her it wasn't .

The girl in front of me moved closer and I did the same because in that moment I needed to show her just how much I cared. Just before our lips touched I heard a scream and then I felt something painful hit me in my head.

(Hannah pov)

Stuff was piling out of my little bag that was getting packed. A sign made its way out of my mouth when I once again failed at zipping up my bag. My foot stomped against the ground in frustration. I was about to remove stuff out of my bag when Elijah walked into my room. He walked right over to my bag and easily zipped it up with his vampire strength. It stayed silent in my room for a good 5 mins while I continued packing the rest of my stuff.

"Hannah I think we should talk right now." Elijah pronounced

"We already talked about this and i'm busy right now anyway." I coaxed as I tried to continue and pack but I couldn't because elijah turned me around and placed his lips on mine.

Elijah kissed me sweetly, it took a second for me to respond but I eventually did because I couldn't help myself. He pulled me closer and put one hand on my cheek and the other on the small of my back. We continued our kiss until I had to pull back for air. When I looked up at Elijah tears started brimming in my eyes and I was about to run away when Elijah pulled me into a hug.
