The Deception

~Chapter Three~

(Emilia pov) 

Here I am back at my new home. It doesn't feel the same sitting in these bed sheets. I don't feel like the same person. I feel darker than I was before more broken.

I know I needed to go downstairs at some point because I have been just sitting in my room for about a week. I put my hair in a messy bun and made my way to the bathroom. I grabbed my toothbrush and put some toothpaste in it.

" Emilia did you really think you got away?" I felt someone whisper

" I turned around and there was Ethan. Standing with blood all over his cloths. He walked towards me and grabbed me. He was about to snap my neck when I screamed. He disappeared and I fell to the floor crying.

Elijah ran in looking worried as hell. I grabbed my knees and pulled them to my chest trying to breath.

" Emilia what happened?" Elijah asked as he kneeled to my level

" He was here, I swear he grabbed me and was about to snap my neck!" I cried

" There was no sign of anyone in here." Elijah explained

" Okay I get it please just get out and let me have peace. " I yelled why pushing Elijah out my dot and slamming it

I started the shower and put my body in the hot water and felt my heart rate go down. I know he Ethan wasn't there but it didn't matter. I just don't know why my life has always been so messed up. Even before I was a vampire, my life got screwed up by a bloody fire. I lost most of my family that day and Elijah only saved me. He should have saved Lilith I mean she was only 16.

I missed my family, I know my brother is alive. He visited me multiple times in my thousand years. I wish he was here right now, I can really use someone. Once I got out of the shower I made my way down stairs and only saw Kol sitting in the kitchen at the stools. I moved quietly and opened the cabinet. I grabbed the cereal and milk from the fridge. I put them down on the island and then grabbed a bowl. I started to pit the cereal when I heard him talk.

" Welcome back Emilia, you happy to see me?" Kol asked smugly

" No not really. Please just let me be in peace right now Kol." I begged

" Pour little Emilia, my brother still doesn't know the truth, do they?" Kol ask with a smirk

" No, they do not. I haven't told them one thing about what happened all those years ago," I answered forcibly

Kol walked up to me and moved my hair and touched my scars on my neck while walking away.

I knew I was being compelled by now. It has been over a thousand years with compulsion. Still no one knows the truth and never will at this point. I decided I need to get over my tormentors Kol and Ethan!!

(Hannah's pov)
I still couldn't get the thought through my head if Sarah being pregnant. I know Kol knows and is pissed. I needed to get visit my brother for the first time ever. I don't know if he knows about me.

I got dressed the headed to Gabriel's house. I walked on to the land and every one was silent as I walked to the front door. People shook their heads while I was walking up the steps. I opened the front door, to find no one in sight. I walked through the hallway and the house was perfectly clean until I found one room whit h had a whole through it.

I opened the door and found a room that was a mess. On the ground, there was a crumpled-up piece of paper. I bent down and I'm ripped the paper to see a picture of Sophia and me. My face had been crossed out.

While I was inspecting the picture more I heard a noise and I turned around fastly. I saw Sophia standing there, shocked and angry.

" What are you doing here?" Sophia gutted out if her teeth

" Sophia, I thought you were dead." I said while trying to reach out to my old best friend

" You need to leave!" She whispers yelled

" Come with me, we both need to get out of here." I stated trying to drag her away

" Leave before I have to kill you!" She cried

" Please come with me?" I begged

" I can't, but I will be back I promise. I need to warn you that this is the beginning to the end. We may not be able to get passed this one, I'm sorry but this will be the end." Sophia went on, with tears falling down her face

" Goodbye, Sophia." I whispered in her ear, I then reached in my pocket and gave her a picture of us when we were younger and out it in her hand and walked out.
