I saw the way he treated you.
I saw the way you died.
I told myself 'never again',
but it was just a lie.
Each time I watch, he brings you back.
He makes you blame yourself.
His words are warped; you never Sinned.
It has always been my fault.
I told myself I would atone—
that I would save this World.
That I would turn myself into a Hero.
That I would one day save the Girl.
So I chained my Soul to yours.
I'll be forever by your side.
I will be your protector
until the end of Time.
