Flashback
When I went home from shopping yesterday, I was wrapping my gifts when I received a phone call from dad

Honey,
Yes dad?? Any problem
Yes hun, I know I told you I'd give you three weeks but I just landed a deal with Stone Corp.
We decided that to take over the agric and oil sector we need to collaborate

But dad, I said, I thought they were your competitors
Em, he said, if you can't beat them, join them

I just called the chairman of the Corp.
He asked to send a trusted employee to his home, that he will have to call his son since he wasn't in charge anymore.
And that they would have a brief meeting

That's great news dad, call your manager
No dear, he said, that's where you come in
I need you to handle this project for me
You're the only one I trust right now, I don't want my business deals to leak so, I need you to start work next week

What?! Dad! Next week?!
I need a vacation dad, I was supposed to have two weeks to myself dad

I know hun, I'm sorry
I need you to do this for me, he said

Ugh! Alright dad, I groaned, I'll do it

I'm counting on you Em, you've always been a smart girl whether you wanted it or not

Thanks dad, I said

When's the meeting with the Stone family?

This afternoon.. You have two hours to get there

What?!, dad!!
You better hurry up Em, he said.

Shit!!! I'll be late! Thank goodness I got something professional today

I rushed into the bathroom.. Took a quick shower, did some light but classy make up, and put on a nice white chiffon shirt and nude trousers with black stilletos

An hour and forty minutes later, I arrived at a beautiful mansion the front has a swimming pool in the center of the compound, the house is massive and painted white but the soft glow of lights in the house tainted it and it looked beautiful, I stared in awe
My heart beat faster, damn! Was I nervous?! I've never been nervous, I've always known how to talk to people, carry myself well and present my objectives. Hell, I never even believed in nervousness, well, I've got to do this if I'm gonna control H&Q Group someday

Stone Mansion

I got down from my Bugatti and straightened my palms, I held my head high and walked to the front porch. Before I could knock the door opened and a woman, seeming to be in her late fifties opened the door for me. She smiled and ushered me in.

Mr. and Mrs. Stone asked me to show you the way. I nodded and smiled to her, gesturing for her to carry on and show me the way..

We passed through some corridor over looking the massive parlour, kitchen and rooms until we walked outside to a very beautiful garden overlooking a lake

We approached husband and wife and they turned around
Mrs. Stone is a very lovely looking woman whom was so cheerful, she embraced me in a bear hug and said,"Goodness me she's so beautiful "
Mr. Stone, a serious looking but surprisingly cheerful man replied," Yes darling, she is"

They offered me a seat under the huge umbrella they were sitting under
Mrs. Stone excused herself and went out to make a call

So, I was left with Mr. Stone who bombarded me with questions concerning the project. Thank God I went through the documents that dad gave the nanny to keep on my bed while I was getting ready. As a smart talker, I answered them fluently

Mrs. Stone came back and joined the conversation.. I had to introduce myself properly so I started, and I told them my qualifications in business

They were impressed, I was glad

Mom dad someone shouted, we turned around and saw a figure jogging lightly

He stopped dead on his track and I remembered, grey sexy eyes, cufflinks, stumping someone with my heel..

Oh God, Oh God.. Dad I've messed this up without even starting
