Chapter 26

Tobias pov

Beth, Tris twin directed me to a house looking place. Natalie had a thing for B names, Beatrice, Beth

"Are you sure she's in there" I ask

"It's the only place I could think of. I've heard my mother talk about this place a few times. She's always told me she would send tris here one day but I never thought she would do it" she says

"Let's go" I say getting out the car and she follows

I knock on the door and as soon as it opens I push pass the person and go to find Tris.

"I'm looking for Beatrice Prior. She goes by Tris. Tell me where she is or I will have this place shut down." I say threatening everyone

If these people only knew I was still going to shut down this place anyway.

"You must be the fiancé" a lady with blonde hair says walking into the room

"Where's Tris" I say

"Getting better" the lady says with a smile

"Jeanine" the lady says extending her hand out for me to shake

I shake it then quickly pull my hand away

"Tobias" I say

"Now please let me take Tris home. I'm also a doctor if she needs to get better I will help her get better" I tell Jeanine.

She laughs and puts her hands on her waist

"She is under my care I get to decide" Jeanine says

"I will have Tris doctor on the phone right now if you don't release her and you Jeanine will be going to jail for not letting a patient go when they don't want medical help. Tris doesn't want to be here I know she doesn't and you're not letting her leave" I say

"She's sick she has no right" Jeanine says

"I'm giving you one more change to just let her go if not you will regret it" I say

"What is little doctor boy going to do" she says laughing

"This" I say pushing her aside and running past her.

I knock on each door till I hear tris.

"Tris" I scream

"Tobias" I hear a voice say

"Tris" I scream again

"Tobias" tris says banging on a door screaming.

I get to her door and guards come trying to pull me away but Beth helps me pull them away. I open Tris door and see her small, bruised body.

She runs into my arms and I hold her nice and tight.

She looks up and sees Beth and screams.

"Get her away. Her and my mother are evil" Tris says scared and Beth has a sad face looking like she's going to cry.

"She's okay. She's not going to hurt you" I tell Tris and she just cries into my chest. I lift her up and hold her in my arms as we walk outside.

The cops arrive as soon as we walk out and I point them into the direction of the house.

Before we got to the house Beth and I called the cops to shut down that scary place.

I put tris in the car and Beth follows.

"I just want to go home" tris whispers crying in her seat.

"Okay" I tell her holding her hand

"Where's Amy" she screams, scared.

"At my parents. She's okay, I promise" I tell her and she calms down

She lays her head on the window and tears fall down her face.

"I'm tired of this life" she whispers and I just continue to drive home.
