"Babe I don't feel good" I say to Tobias as we walk through the driveway of his parents house.
It's thanksgiving and we're celebrating it at his parents house. My parents are going to be there too, along with my brother and his girlfriend. Tobias doesn't have any siblings so it's just his parents and him.
"What's wrong" he says
"I don't know these past few days I've just been feeling different and I've been throwing up. I might have a stomach bug" I say
"How about tomorrow we go to the doctor" he says
"You know I hate the doctor" I say
"But that's the only way we can see what's wrong with you" he says
"Why can't you give me a check up. I don't want to go to the doctor" I say
"Babe we're going to the doctor end of discussion" he says and I sigh
He holds my hand, the one with my engagement ring on it while I hold the cookies I made and Tobias holds Amy in his other arm.
When we get there we're greeted by Tobias mom and dad.
"Hello sweetie" Tobias mom says giving Tobias and Amy a hug
"And Tris how are you" she says hugging me
"Eh okay" I say
"I'm going to take this one, you can just put those cookies in the kitchen" she tells me and grab Amy from Tobias Arms.
"Tris, Tobias how have you been" my mom says running over to us. She was in the kitchen.
"Good, good" I say
"I hope you have your eating pants on because there's so much food" my mom says laughing then walks back to the kitchen.
I lay my head on Tobias as we walk to the living room where everyone is at.
My mom and Evelyn are in the kitchen while our dads are in the living room watching some type of sport. Then Caleb and his girlfriend are just in the living room cuddled on a love seat.
"Tris my beautiful baby. Haven't seen you in a while how's it been" my dad says and I giggle
"Good dad" I say hugging him
"Tobias, how are you son? Treating my daughter right" my dad says shaking his hand
"Always" Tobias answers and they smile
Marcus greets us then we go over to sit near my brother and his girlfriend.
"So how's parenthood" my brother says
"It has its ups and downs" Tobias says
"But Amy is normally on the good side sometimes she has her days" I say
"We're actually expecting but don't tell mom or dad we want to wait for after dinner" Caleb whispers
"That's amazing congrats" I say
"Who's ready to eat" Evelyn calls out and we all jump to our feet and walk to the dining room

"We're having a baby" Caleb announces once everyone is eating at the table.
"Congrats son" my dad says happily
"I'm going to be a grandma to another baby. I thought I would never be one again after the accident tris had" my mom says
"Wow mom" I say dropping my fork
"Tris I didn't mean it in a bad way" she says
"Sure" I say rolling my eyes and picking up my fork again.
Tobias grabs my hand and squeezes it. We continue with the thanksgiving dinner. My parents gush over Amy and Caleb's new expecting baby while I kind of sit and pout because life sucks sometimes.
