"Hi, my names Nicole," She spoke, her head facing towards Liam. It seemed as if she was introducing herself for personal interests. "Whats your name?" She asked him, my blood boiled instantly as I could feel the heat radiating from the pores of my skin. I could already foretell how this night was going to play and was not one ounce interested. I cleared my throat as the irritation leaked from my voice.
"My names Jessica, and that's my boyfriend Liam." I emphasized, implying that she needed to back off before I created a dent in her face.
She had long, straight brown hair that went all the way to her mid-back. Her boobs were bursting through the slight opening of her uniform, and she had chewing gum in her mouth that she would pop obnoxiously with.
I glanced towards Liam half-mindedly forgotten he was even here, witnessing our encounter as interesting and amused. His mouth was an 'o' shape as his eyes would flick back and forth between the scummy waitress and I.
"Hmm okay, what can I get for you to drink?" She asked, while adverting her eyes far from me.
"Two diet cokes please" Liam said not giving her the satisfaction of looking at her whatsoever as he spoke. Writing our drink order down, she strolled to the kitchen, not before she "inadvertently" dropped her pen before our table and gradually twisted down to get it, her skirt lifting a bit exposing unwanted flesh. Was this girl being serious? Rolling my eyes at her pathetic ways of trying to seduce my boyfriend, I grabbed a hold of Liam's hand. We talked about my approaching film and quietly held up for our beverages, which took around twenty minutes to arrive.
Nicole came strutting to our table carrying only one drink in her hand. Setting it tenderly down before Liam, she hauled out her notepad from her pocket and inquired as to whether we were prepared to order.
Excuse you.
"Um, where's my beverage?" I spoke up, breaking her gaze upon Liam's face. Snapping her head toward me, it looked as though I had startled her.
"Ooh right, you didn't order one hun" She rolled her eyes as though she was bothered by my vicinity.
"Yes, we requested TWO diet cokes" I fumed through gritted teeth while I overly emphasized the two.
"It just says one here. Sorry" She fakely batted her eyes my way, even pouted her lips a bit.
"Actually, if its all the same to you, could you bring me one?" I swallowed down my anger, trying my best to sound as genuine as I could. Rolling her heavily caked eyes once more, she spun on her six inch heels and began to the kitchen.
"Uh, I'm going to go to the bathroom Jessie, I'll be right back." he said awkwardly. He comprehended that I didn't want to voice how I feel, so he knew not to say much which is a good quality Liam had. He stood up and walked away, leaving me alone to brawl with my emotions. The anger was still riveting through out me. If I wasn't at a fancy restaurant with Liam, I most likely would've slapped her across the face. My veins sizzled inside me, and the jealousy was churning in my stomach. My fists were clenched at my side, turning a ghostly white as my anger began to escalate at the recollection of the despicable waitress.
A sudden buzz from across the booth snapped me out of my fixed condition, I quickly studied what was making the annoying sound to see Liam got a text message. I was his girlfriend, I'm allowed to know who he's texting. Irrationally, I reached over and grabbed his IPhone, curiosity taking complete control. I slide the screen to see an unfamiliar name Jenna. My heart instantly collapsed, unable to comprehend this amount of unfathomable pain.
"Babe, come back to me. You don't need her, I can make you feel way better."
"I love you more than she does."
