"Throwing it back! We'll be right back." We heard the announcer speak through the speakers of the car radio. Still pumped up and happy from the song, Liam was still bouncy and in a significantly more perky mind-set.
"Latest News brought to you first, actor Harry Styles seen hitting the dance floor with model Stephanie Carter at nearby night club. The two were last seen going up stairs from the club Ice cool. They appeared to be really intrigued on the off chance that you ask me, I'd say boyfriend and girlfriend maybe?" The speakers snarky voice breaking all laughter from Liam and I.
"Isn't that your associate?" Liam asked raising his eyebrow, not mindful from the misfortune of breath I was encountering.
"Y-yes" I croaked, not able to talk because of the lump shaped in my throat. I felt ill all of a sudden, the simple notice of an alternate girl with Harry made me flinch in contempt. Torment fled through my body as I replayed the publication in my mind, "boyfriend and girlfriend maybe?" My body shut down at that point, every part of my heart once mended, now disintegrated. The world around me became blurred out by the pain. Seering, apalling pain that devoured my body. My eyes squinting in agonizing pain, as I used strenuous strength not to let the tears pour down my face in front of Liam. Diverting myself, and Liam, I made the most cliché question I could oversee.
"Are we there yet?" I asked, listening attentively to his response.
"Almost" He said, glancing at me, "Are you feeling okay, you look a bit pale?" He asked, concern composed clear over his face as he touched my hand.
"Fine." I managed to smile although inside I was all the while recuperating from the agony I continued to feel, "Just hungry, you know." I laughed at my own particular uneasiness. Nodding, Liam took a turn and slid into a parking spot without breaking a sweat. The restaurant was a little Italian place, with small crystal lights dangling from the roof illuminating the welcoming feeling it brought.
Unbuckling himself, Liam hopped from his door and opened mine just as I was unbuckling myself, showing his gentleman like qualities. Taking my hand, he lead me through the passage entryways and into the little restaurant. As we approached the hostess, a solid aroma of garlic bread filled my nose. It was heavenly, I could simply taste the liquefied spread on the tip of my tongue. The place was mostly remote, other than a few other couples. The lighting had been dimmed and had soft music playing faintly in the air. The tables were close together, but gave enough room for you to feel comfortable.
"Hi, welcome to Campiellos. Table for two?" The hostess with short red hair asked peering at us both.
"Yes" Liam responded smiling slightly.
"Alright, follow me please." She grabbed two menus and lead us to a table on the far right corner beside the window.
"Your waitress should be with you in a few minutes" She smiled placing the two menus one across each side of the booth, then left to stand at the door.
I managed to sit myself down still uneasy from the emotional moments that previously took place. My thoughts were swishing around in my head leaving me blank. My feelings a stinging numbness as they tried to re cooperate themselves. I attempted my best to try and have a pleasant evening with Liam, masking my face with one of sincerity and happiness.
"Liam thank you so much for taking me here tonight." I said, tackling the fabricated smile. The familiar smile I had come to love spread across his lips, ear to ear. "Babe, I wouldn't trade this for the world." The natural and customary warmth began to spread through me, chipping the ice particles that surrounded my sore heart.
"I love you." I responded, infatuated with moments like these, two people hopelessly in love.
"I lo-" He began to speak but was ineptly interrupted by the waitress that abruptly arrived.
